AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 654) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 5, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/05/2002 4:10:06 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

ELECTION DAY!! DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE!!

In 2000, it was decided that Democrats should vote on Wednesday. Not enought took advantage of that offer, so this year, to cut down on lines in polling places, something new will be tried.

Through special arrangement with certain folks in Canada - who, because of the extent of their magnanimity wish to remain nameless - it is now possible to dedicate special polling places just for the use of Democrats.

Democrats, think of this as your own special voting district. Republicans are to vote in the United States - no Republicans whatsover will be allowed to vote in Canada today.

On the other hand, Democrats should take the opportunity to drive north of the border and vote there. No lines - gone will be the complaints of having to wait to vote. No polling monitors - you can vote as many times as you want. You will be able to come home refreshed with the knowledge that you were able to cast thousands, even tens of thousands of votes for your candidate - and no one will so much as hassle you.

So don't delay. The north beckons. If you are a Democrat, hop in your car, drive north, cross the border, and vote. In fact, so good is this program, there are Republicans who will be more than glad - once they have cast their vote in America, because this special offer is not open to them - to drive you and other voting age (in other words, anyone who can recognize a crayon) members of your family (you will have to make your own arrangements to transport dead people) into Canada to your special polling places. (This offer, however, is only one way - you will have to make your own arrangements to return to America).

Democrats - Canada. That's where your vote should be.

[Good only on November 5, 2002. Not good with any other offer, and may not be exercised by Republicans. Offer applies to any definition of family that may be provided by a card carrying Democrat. For further details, see the back of your Rice Krispies box - they might be there. Certain other restrictions apply. No actual guarantee of voting ability is made or warranted. No ballots will be cast on behalf of the Democrat voter by the Republican. If, in fact, you are a Democrat, and you could not actually vote in Canada, complaints will be taken on November 4, 2002. No Canadians were harmed during the preparation of this offer.]

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

My little county used for the first time today....touch screen voting machines(we use to have punch ballots) anyway....I had to smile as I placed the card into the machine...all I could think was smudge buildup.......LOLOLOLOL!!!!

You have to be real careful touching the screen.

Today when I vote I will be reminded of all we've been through the past 2 years.

The ups..the downs..the smiles the frowns. Are second nature to me now. :-)

Uh oh!! I feel a song coming on. Better quit while I'm ahead.

They were interviewing voters as they came out of the polling places, one said she was calling the FBI cause a worker had been rude to her. She was hot, poll worker wrote down the FBI phone # and gave it to her. I had to chuckel

Just got back from voting. Turnout in our precinct is heavy (strong Republican precinct). For the first time I have ever seen it there were LARGE "No Electioneering" signs up, complete with the statute prohibitiing it and the notice that violation is a felony. In RED letters!

We vote punch card, which always makes me smile when I hear how hard it is for Floridians to use. LOL!

I voted straight Republican, as did my son and daughter.

No word on whether there are any voting irregularities in Indianapolis (Carson's stronghold) but I am certain before the day is out something will happen. In 2000 an entire voting machine was found in Fall Creek. I am talking on of those big, mechanical voting machines! No fraud there, nosiree, move along...

the number of black voters who called in and basically said what you said -- "do the democrats think we're so stupid as to fall for that trick...."

The sad part is, yes, the demoflops really do think that - apparently.

BLUSH!

Gee, thanks. But without all of us, each bringing and providing their own little something, this thread would not be what it is. So I must thank all of you for joining in every day and making the community nice.

We're still dealing with punch cards and chad checking, but I don't mind....I'm a conservative, and can figure it out!!

Fairly busy...did remind me of the election of 2000 tho, & its awful aftermath....trying to push those thoughts away.
