A NC Republican incumbent in the House who was heavily targeted by the 'rats is ahead 58% to 40% though CNN has not called him the winner yet. That's with 49% of the precincts reporting.
From what I know he's a good guy ..... glad he's ahead.
My Rep, the Honorable (in every sense of the word!) Sue Myrick has been declared the winner in her race. That surprises me ...... she's only ahead by 75% to 24% ...... *grins*

I had the 500th post? Cool! I am watching Fox News, Brit Hume is cracking me up. Very entertaining this evening. Also heard that the African-American turnout is much lower than the dims expected. Hmmmmm

500 According to the folks at DU, we're supposed to throw a party at this point, or something like that.

Chair, I swore I heard a while ago that they declared Doyle the winner, guess it ws that little guy sitting on my shoulder that wispered it in my ear.

Sorry I was gone for so long. Neighbor called and needed to change the fuel filter on his truck. I was the only one skinny enough to get to it.
Ruined a perfectly good set of $35 shooting gloves that are gasoline soaked now. Sheesh. How does the election look?

Let's party some more. Carl Cameron is reporting that Talent is leading Carnahan 50% to 49% from St Louis!~ This is super news, Carnahan had to carry St Louis by a considerable margin in order for her to win, and Talent is ahead by 1%! Cameron is also from New Hampshire and says that it looks like NH is safe for the Republicans, the early votes are from the lower counties next to Massachusetts, the other counties left will go for Sununu. Is it possible that the Republicans will do well tonight? I'm afraid to hope.

Obviously I have been having what they're having. Either that or the gas fumes made me post twice.
