I got on the plane there was a big pile of Uzis, AK-47's, and ten or 15 pistols right behind the pilots. Again, that warm-fuzzy feeling was missing.no guts, no glory...
To: Cuttnhorse
The only thing that bothers me in this environment is that I couldn't pack heat. Serves you right for being a gringo...

This was and interesting place...3-meters of rain per year...we used to hang our clothes on ropes in the generator shack just to try to keep ahead of the mold. It was a mule-supplied camp...was there for over a month...was the closest I've ever been to feeling like I was in prison.

Happy Complete Arsehole...

LOL!!
I was consulting for a friend of mine who had started this company and had a very interesting gold property in Ecuador. He asked me to come down and do all the underground mapping so he could get an idea of what the reserves might actually be. We ate rice and beans every day with the occasional egg, and Cui. Does anyone out there know what Cui, (cuy) is??? Hee, Hee.
To: Cuttnhorse
Manioc root that the old ladies chew and let ferment?
To: Cuttnhorse
I don't know... and I'm afraid to ask
To: null and void
Good Morning Nully

Yes, this is a sunset
To: ValerieUSA; null and void
Actually, cuy is a little animal that is quite popular in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. I would descibe it as a hamster-looking critter. In the little houses in Peru, the folks have a little closet-sized room full of the little guys. They feed them alfalfa...on any corner in the villages in Peru people seel alfalfa for Cui. You can order Cui from any menu in any resturant in Peru and Ecuador. The thing that always bothers me is they serve them with their little claws intact...although they do lop their heads off in the better resturants. Amazing what tastes good when you are hungry. (tiene mucho hambre).
