North Korea admits to a secret nuclear weapons program, according to a senior Administration official.

The source said [Assistant Secretary of State] Kelly [while visiting the reclusive Communist Nation on security talks] also raised with North Korea evidence that North Korea may have a uranimum-enrichment program. The program, which the United States believes would only be used to develop a nuclear bomb, began under the Clinton administration, according to the official.

The ACLU has announced they are looking into whether the Defense Department violated the Posse Comitatus Act by supplying assistance to local police departments in the Washington area looking for the sniper.

I posted this map last night, but am bringing it forward for purposes of discussion and observation.

The map is of the first seven shootings, all in Maryland.

Green boxes indicate shooting locations.
Purple boxes indicate mosque or Islamic center locations.
Red circles indicate extremely close proximity of green and purple boxes (within a few blocks).

Scale may be determined by locating a triangle of interstate highways near the left hand edge of the map. The western edge of that triangle is roughly one mile. The other two sides are roughly 1 1/2 miles.

Funny that should ask, cause I was going to tell you about someone I met....

At the reception was a woman who happened to be a former asst. prosecutor in w. Minnesota...

At that job some years ago, she realized the need to learn how to protect herself, and indeed, the police urged her to take this step as she had received death threats, AND THE POLICE TOLD HER THEY COULDN'T PROTECT HER.

So she did, and she's become a big 2nd amendment & CCW supporterlearning how to use a number of different guns and rifles.

So we talked about that, and I told her about Second Amendment Sisters which she'd never heard of...We agreed it'd be nice if there were more women firearms instructors...

It's not Thursday yet!!....I shorted out the coffee maker this AM, so the day can't start until I have a coffee maker :^

Dumb, dumb thing to do!....I set the coffee filter thingie on crooked, and all the coffee AND water collected in the filter......and the grounds ran down inside the coffee maker....and it was a huge mess.

...hubby was not happy with me this AM

..so, when I tried to clean it.....being half awake....I ran water over the hot plate on the maker, and now it won't even turn on.

CAN I START THIS DAY OVER PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
