Hi FRiends,
Mo1, to answer your question, no, I didn't get the new fishing gear. LostThread got herself a shiny new ride instead . . .
*sigh*
Chivalry is not dead, (yet) . . .
Val, you tease me with those pictures of that beautiful boat. I sure wish it were mine! My personal hole in the water is not nearly as nice. It would be a shame to get fish slime all over that nice wooden deck . . .

My kids always got the words mushrooms and marshmallows mixed up... they wanted mushrooms to toast in the campfire and marshmallows in their spaghetti sauce. It looks like God heard them and made an all-purpose mushmallow.

Hello Val.....How's things??
To: LostThread
My husband let me ride on the back of his motorcycles, but never drive.. is your new ride a motorcycle?
To: ValerieUSA
Nope...not a cycle...My legs are too short to reach the ground..I prefer to ride on the back, 'cept when hubby drives into bees, like he did 2 wks ago. 20 Years of riding on the back, and I get stung by a bee, and hospitalized..Not a good way to find out i'm allergic LOL....
It's a "mom-mobile"...full size Conversion Van....(party truck)...LOL
To: LostThread
That sounds like a travelling motel room.
To: LostThread
Hospitalized? Was your reaction to the bee sting immediate? That would be so scary.
To: ValerieUSA
The immediate reaction was redness and swelling, which I thought was normal for a sting....I got bit on Sunday...By late Monday my whole arm was red....and worse on Tuesday....Saw the Dr. on Tuesday, and he never let me come home, sent me directly to the hospital, (and let me tell you, I argued this profusely)...*L*..All, I cared about was the Rolex appointment I had the following day!
(yes, I sold the Rolex...*whew*)
As a result, I now carry an Epipen, in the event I ever get stung again, Not really sure what stung me either, due to the fact we were travelling @ about 55mph.

I didn't hear it, will possibly catch a re-run on FOX tonight. Valerie was kind enough to send me her personal, autographed copy by email.

I had a delayed reaction to a bee sting years ago. I had the initial redness, but then it swelled hugely and was very painful and dark the next day. The doctor said I was stung by a dirty bee and it was infected so I was given antihistimines and antibiotics. I was barefoot outdoors and stung on my toe, so perhaps a clean bee stung a dirty foot. *L*
