AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 598) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | September 10, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 09/10/2002 4:23:24 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!![President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The military deployed anti-aircraft missile batteries around the National capital yesterday for a four-day defensive exercise. The exercise is designed to test the integration of F-16 combat air patrol and ground level portable missile defense.

President Bush has stated it is not the job of the United States to determine who rules in a post-Saddam Iraq.

Lawmakers will hold a news conference today to state what they have found in their probe of Martha Stewart.

In a piece posted on The Boston Channel, Helen Thomas writes that September 11, 2001, changed America, but not for the better. She also said the phrase "homeland security" was an "alien term."

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

They still don't get it by David Gerlenter....He is great!

Old Friend, good morning. Your comment yesterday about random acts of kindness was so appropriate.

Those are the kinds of things which each of us can do...and the President speaks of this as fighting evil, don't you think??

The Daily Update – September 10, 2002

REMEMBER THE TRADE CENTER!!

AMERICA’S WAR ON TERROR – Day 365

The news as reported in The Washington Times:

[Note – All links go to The Washington Times’ website.]

1. President Bush spent the day rallying foreign capitals to the notion of ousting Iraqi President Hussein, adding rhetorical “muscle” to the debate – something the White House said was lacking in the last Administration.

[Yes, it was most certainly lacking. But it is hard to have rhetorical muscle when you have moral atrophy.]

Bush flexes 'muscle' on Iraq

2. Chairman Arafat called for an end to the killing of civilians, but he fell short of calling for a complete end to violence.

[Too little, too late. He must go.]

Arafat urges end to killing civilians

3. One year ago tomorrow, hijackers killed thousands of Americans. This special report looks into who these people were and some of their culture.

[Simple, they practiced a religion of death.]

Killers in the cockpit: Who and why?

4. The Earth Liberation Front has admitted to an arson attack on a lab in Pennsylvania. The group’s stated mission is to protect trees; ironically, the lab they torched is in the business of doing just that – enhancing the ability of forests to grow more quickly and strongly.

[The ELF is a terrorist organization. They need to be hunted down and dealt with, just like Al Qa’eda.]

ELF admits to arson at Forest Service lab

5. American Muslims are struggling with their image after 19 members of their own religion conducted an attack killing 3,000 Americans last year.

[Considering the worldwide reach of Al Qa’eda, fear may reasonably be part of the equation.]

Muslims struggle with an image

6. The American economy was dealt a “body blow” on September 11, 2001, but American resolve helped to quickly end the recession.

[Now if we can only get the stock market to respond.]

U.S. economy survives a 'body blow'

7. Voters in Maryland and the District of Columbia conduct their primaries today – the races are tighter than expected.

[Yawn.]

Local primary contests tighten

We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.

LOL! Quick, describe the hat!! I heard him but didn't think to go look at his costuming!

Geraldo in a new hat-------> imminent action.

Gerlenter wrote an excellent book following his near death at the hands of the unabomber. His premise that the media considered the killer as his moral equivalent was quite interesting and a hint of things to come in this war against terror and the media coddling of the Palestinian suicide bombers.

Geraldo is first and foremost a publicity seeker, but his desire for publicity causes him to sniff out where the action is. When he becomes concerned with his attire, it means he thinks he will be on TV a lot. He will only be on TV a lot if something is about to happen.

Hence:

Geraldo in a hat--------->imminent action

Can you argue with my logic? Ha!
