Are you asking about transcendent and universal, or spiritual? The old philosphers used to say that the ability to ask that question alone makes us human. ;-)

Well, just remember: Post-modernists, deconstructionists and, especially, objectivists, think we are all just collections of randomly assembled atoms, 10 billion cosmic accidents all running around. If you continue to ask such questions, not only do you open yourself up to ridicule for your 'quaint' notions of 'meaning' from these people, you also may have to resort to the thinking of -- shudder -- Dead White Guys!!!
