Mercy, if you don't mind I'd like to reiterate what I think are the key points of your post that all of us should do/remember,

Giving priority to what is most important, I have decided to swallow my pride. I had a dustup with a moderator. I lost. Though I think the moderators need a tuneup they ain't so bad really. I depend on them to keep this site from becomming a free for all whacko hate site. I used to push the abuse button quite frequently on my fave undesirables ... anti-semite, haters. I notice they're a bit thin around here lately.

This site called Free Republic, which received its push via the Monica scandal as came out on Drudge, is a total fraud, 100%. This place is NOT about cleaning up the government. No, it's about protecting the government. It's NOT about getting the truth out. No, it's about getting lies to propagate as truth. It's NOT about anything to do with freedom. No, it's about making sure the chains remain.

You want proof? Too bad. I won't be staying long enough (nor will this post), because Jim Robinson literally hates my guts. In fact, he's rewritten the software for this place several times purely to keep me out.

Find out what's being deleted here, what's been deleted for a long long time, what topics are off the table and what topics ARE the table. I suspect threads like this are allowed to surface "malcontents" for subsequent banning. Mao permitted a brief cultural thaw in China around 1960, and a few voices spoke out against how badly The Middle Kingdom was being run. Mao then clamped back down, and had a handy list of dissidents who'd neatly incriminated themselves. The words "deleted by moderator" should make anyone's gorge rise.
