IT'S THE LOO WITH A MOO
Western Daily Press ^ | 8-23-2002

Shocked Josie Waters was recovering last night after an escaped bull attacked a portable toilet she was using at a West Country show.

Mrs Waters, 51, had just stepped into the bright green toilet when the creature broke free from its handler and charged towards it.

The 1,100lbs animal stormed 400 yards across a car park and a field before ramming head-first into the mobile unit.

The impact caused one side of the loo to lift up off the ground and left Mrs Waters sitting terrified inside.

She said. "I went into the toilet and a couple of seconds later I heard this thundering noise and then an almighty crash before one side lifted up.

"I didn't know what it was and thought a lorry had driven into it.

"It was only when I heard voices shouting for people to get out of the way and saying there was a bull on the loose that I realised what was happening and I was overcome with terror." Eventually, a vet was called and tranquillised the bull before Mrs Waters, from West Moors, Dorset, emerged from the toilet 15 minutes later.

The drama happened as she and her 15-year-old daughter Fiona were enjoying a dayout at the Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show in Dorset.

This is one of those cases where maybe it's a good thing there was no video. I'm still laughing.

Well, the odd thing is, Oklahoma seems to be a little more advanced than merry old England--we do have indoor plumbing here!

Yeah, my first clue was the word "loo", the second was the word "lorry"........ and Cagey joked about it being in Texas......so I found a town in Texas that was also found in England......and a joke usually isn't very funny if you have to explain it.......lol.....fyi

LOL--when we lived in Corpus Christi, we used to say that too. We called Oklahoma the "Texas Parking Lot."
