OREGON CITY, Ore. -- A body found over the weekend in a barrel has been identified as one of two girls who vanished from their apartment complex last winter, police said Monday night.

Police Chief Gordon Huiras said the 12-year-old girl, Ashley Pond, had been identified through dental records. Her remains had been found Sunday, one day after authorities discovered the body of 13-year-old Miranda Gaddis in a shed.

We went to see the flick " My Big Fat Greek Wedding". It's a cute flick..lots of laughs..kinda reminds me of me and the hubster...me bein' Irish and him bein Mexican..My dad tried to make him an Irishman..gave him a scroll and changed the spelling of his name..from Oseguera to O'Seguera..didn't take. Now les see what else did you ask me?? Oh yeah..the darker half took me to the flick and then to the pizza parlor for a pizza...he liked the pizza and I didn't ...don't care for all the grease but it was a new place and we wanted to try it out...How come they never have chicken Pizza?

Oh HI, Rowdee...well the little darlin' goes to the vet tomorrow for a check up. Since it was my vet's partner who did the initial check on her, my vet wants to see her. She will get what every woman HATES weighed ( and she better be up a bit), a urinalysis ( they will prolly have to sqeeze it out of her) and a blood test to check the T4, BUN creatinine, liver enzymnes and that ought to cost about 200.00. We will know if her meds are on target or need adjusting.

Guess what I got in the mail today...a letter from the Small Animal research branch at the ( I haven't got the title quite right) anyway...my vet made a donation in Nacho's memory to do research in the problems that plague our small animals..cats, dogs, rabbits etc..Was that nice or what?! It really means a lot to know she has such compassion. She did that when my little Mocha died 6 years ago too.Mocha was 25 people years...

Oh just fine..I finally show up and you all run away...well maybe I'll go read the British News Papers and come back in a bit..If you read the brit papers you won't need you local paper in the morning...

Hi. Mo..yes it really is. I have no idea if she does that for all her patients that she cares for over a long period of time of if there is something about the specific pet that somehow she gets close to...both Nacho and Mocha were really special and friendly and compliant pets..did what they were told and they were full of personality..Really miss those kitties...

this friend of ours who is in her late 70s lost both her kitties this year. well finally two weeks ago she got a little black kitten..a little girl...calls her Baby... Baby went in for her " Well baby check" today..passed with flying colors..Now tomorrow she goes in for fixing and she is not quite 8 weeks old..seems early to me but that is the regulation from the Humane Society here...that kittens have to be fixed at a certain number of weeks of age...We have to wait a day or so before we can go see the new baby.

They replayed an old interview with Weaver on O'Reilly tonight, and he was explaineg why he was a suspect in their disappearance, and he understood why and was fine and cooperating and thought Ashley had run away to get away from her horrible home and Mom - but felt bed for Miranda's Mom who really wanted her girl back and hoped she would return. He had the reporter convinced -- probably the cops, too. He admitted his dad was in prison (he said for 6 murders, but the reports say he was only charged with 2 murders). It was so spooky watching that from then, knowing what we know now.
These slick liars have something in common, they say too much. When asked directly if he had anything to do with the girls' disappearance, he answered "No," right away and was convincing - but then he kept on and said he had nothing to do in any way with their disappearances or anything else that happened and he knows nothing about it.... he said too much. He was enjoying making new friends with reporters (probably the cops, too.)
