My folks gave Cricket to the kid up the street! We missed him. When I was stationed at MCAS Beaufort, S.C. I had two kitties..Buttons and Gretchen...when I went overseas they would not keep them for me until I came home...I had to find them a home i was told you bring them here we will get rid of them ( that was mom talking). So I found them a home on Hilton Head....gretchen stayed put but Buttons came all the way back to the air staiton looking for me. I got a letter from some friends telling me he was back at my door and the new resident wondered where this big beautiful black cat with white paws came from..he was crying out side the door...guess he took Buttons and gave him a home...Too bad I lost my kitties. They were really pretty and I raised them from the time they were born..the mother having been killed by a dempsy dumpster ( the garbage guys put it down on top of her)...all those every 2 hour feedings...teaching them how to climb a tree, they were always in the shower first loved the water...and they were trained for a halter and leash!

The solf their house 6 or 7 years ago to travel the country and find a new location to retire... they are still looking *L* They like the RV life. My Aunt and her husband travelled in their own rig with them, and they had fun the first few years, but he died in '98 and my aunt has a new man in her life who lives in a real house, so she doesn't travel with them any more. They're checking out Arizona again.
