Is IS a big issue in the public schools...there was a time when my two were in elementary school and 70% of their day was taken up with these types of "classes"...Renata had ONE teacher from the "OLD" school who told me this was the most dangerous thing she has ever seen...this is the reason most Public Schools (NOT ALL) have such low ranking. The curriculum is too focused on social issues rather than the RRR's

Web fact: The maximum amount of earnings subject to the Social Security tax (taxable maximum) increased to $84,900 from $80,400 in 2002.

I'm on-line right now, at the close of our Sunday.
I was glad when they said unto me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord." Our feet are standing within Thy gates.
I pray each of you will be able to draw closer today to the Creator and find rest and peace and strength to face the week to come.
ISB, Irony of ironies, I didn't realize until the icky principal arrived today, but since we moved, he and I have become next-door neighbors! LOL!

I have managed to stay awake when I needed to stay awake. But I still don't have a full six to eight hours of sleep during the dark part of the day. However, the naps are sort of migrating in that direction.
What are your plans for the day?

I have to take Mom for her monthly outing at Walmart, then laundry to do. If the rain holds off I'll just hang stuff outside, if not, it's off to the laundromat super dryers.
Then just straighten up and dinner and psych myself up for UGHHH WORK tomorrow.

I have to take Mom for her monthly outing at WalmartI know that many don't like WalMart, but I love to go. It is so nice not to have to run all over town when there's an 18 acre store that has it all - almost.
I have just been hit with a wave of sleepiness. Have a good, relaxing day, if possible.

Ummm, I had a few 'deportments' put on me when I was in school, it was called 'blackboard' and you wrote, 'I will not chew gum in class', etc. Or, 'I will not talk in class' and you wrote it over and over and after class, you cleaned the blackboards. The problem with public education is they are expermenting, and have been for years and years and can't find the solutions.
