Good morning everyone!
An article posted overnight reminds me that the 2002 elections are not far away.
Here in ATRW land we're paying attention to the N.J. Senate race, and the Maryland Gov. race.
Next Tuesday, there are more primaries, and we can expect more and more polls.
Yippee!! NOT!
And the 2002 Summer Vacation Season winds down.
Chairman, have a perfectly wonderful vacation, and return to us rested and recharged!

...McKinney is missing a few screws!! LOL! Yeah, ain't it the truth! If her brains were gasoline, it wouldn't be be enough to power a flea's go-cart around the inside of a cheerio.

Morning Molly and everyone else!
Yesterday was a good school day and perhaps the trend will continue. My 10-year-old, anyway, said it was a good day and she didn't cry.
I just about cried last night. I got into an argument with my brother-in-law who is a prominent Democrat about the 2000 elections. He's absolutely brainwashed into believing everything the Dems say and actually made the statement, "The only media that's biased is Fox!" (Sigh) As long as we stick to sports, we can get along just fine.
I'm going to Nashville this morning to volunteer for the day in the church office by doing stuff on the computer and answering phones. Can you believe we're driving an hour each way to church while living in the middle of the Bible belt?

I use to go to Nashville bout every 2,3 months, I did the drug testing for Opryland but, since I have retired, don't know what will ever get me back up there. I enjoyed the city. a nice place to visit.

Say, why not write some articles about your experences in Singaphore with you church work, I am sure a lot of people would like to know what barries you were faced with, it could be a lot of help to others who take the road you traveled.

Morning all. This is a hit and run post. I am due in a bit for formation and inspection. I am off of night-shift. Yipee! The down side is that I had less than 12 hours to get ready for day shift. I should be posting again sometime after 1800 CST (6:00 PM). Everybody have a wonderful day.

I'm sorry, I didn't complete my thought. When I retired from law enforcement I took my knowledge on drug abuse and put it into religious articles, used the Bible as a tool for escaping the habit. Give it a thought anyway.

Thanks, I will.

Hey GC, thanks for the encouragement and good idea. I do like to write and might consider doing some articles. Just recently my wife and I were interviewed for a local monthly Christian magazine and appeared on the cover. Unfortunately, they got my name wrong on the cover! But it was a nice chance for us to tell some stories.
Last night we went for dinner at the Chinese restaurant where the two new arrivals from China live and work. They speak almost no English and have started school this week. The school had asked if I could help them get their paperwork in order so after the meal we spent about 30-45 minutes filling out forms and explaining stuff to them. They took half off of our meal so we saved $19, more than what I expect to ever get from the school for my efforts.

Good Morning, SY!
I've been reading the posts between you and GC6.
Were you a missionary in Singapore?
May God Bless you and your family and your work!
