Thanks Loddy, for those grand piggie pics...the one I saw, resembles Hammering man quite a bit...now it says that Hammering man is across the street from the Seattle Art Museum, but this piggie was just in a regular neighborhood...tho after the pigs were taken down, I am not sure if they were sold at auction to whoever could afford them or what happened to them...

I remember when this event was going on, and I could view many of the pigs online...we never did go up to Seattle to view them, tho why we did not go, I am not clear on...

So, when you look at Hammering Man that very closely looks like the piggie I am talking about....

Arent those pigs great?

My home town of Chicago, had some wonderful cows like that, a few years ago...one of my cousins, who lives in Kentucky, happened to visit Chicago with his wife and son that very summer, and they had a grand time running around Chicago, with their 'cow' map in hand, looking for all the great cow statues....'Cows' being very appropriate for Chicago, for who can forget Mrs. O'Learys cow, kicking over the lantern in the barn and burning down Chicago, or so the story goes...

I find the statue totally exciting
russia was under czars so long, owning serfs (who were like slaves)
Lenin is portrayed as man of modern vision
communism didnt work out rofl
but I'm sure at its inception lotsa idealists were aboard

Well, while searching for other pics of the Lenin statue, came across an interesting website, which has various pics of Seattle and the surrounding areas...it has some really lovely shots of this whole area, Olympic Park, Rainier Park, University of Washington, views of Seattle, including the Lenin statue...click on each pic for a full sized pic...get to see the beauty of this whole Pacific Northwest area....enjoy...hope I get this right the first time...go to

It's almost time to change because fall will be here soon...I am getting tired of looking at the hot pink too.

Hi Mom...I love your stories from Seattle...looks like I'll have to put it on my list for romantic places....but we'll promise to be careful and not break any chairs!!!

Seattle is indeed a romantic place to be...

Click on that link I provided, and take a look at some of the scenes of Seattle and the whole area....

It truly is romantic here, even tho one may occasionally break furniture(Its all part of the fun)....

hi sweetie
thank you very much
it had bumpy start, I was called illiterate, ditz, toddler
yesterday I was called boring, christine rushed to my defense
''palo is not boring'' she said
all I really want to say is badjoe is honest
the rest of the time I lurk

also I am enjoying the political and religious threads there
I inhibited myself so much here cause I dont like to say what others dont like to hear
half the time when I go on a LP thread there is only one post there
some lunatic is claiming that abraham lincoln is worst president we ever had, and clinton is not even close
I've always had a weakness for lunatic posters
they're so sincere, they're so nuts, they're so sweet

she broke a chair in Seattle
I still dont know how it happened, everything was so normal for so long
buying new lunchbox
going to jolly rodger for beer and burgers and onion rings
then break a chair from wild sex
then go to baseball game

at least your weekends are consistent
and you dont divide up your sex time with traipsing all over city for blue or teal lunch box

We have big mountains, and altho we have big trees, most Redwoods are down along the coast of northern California...but we have lots of other big trees here, and we also have the temperate rain forest along our coast...it has some HUGE trees, maybe not as big as redwoods, but nonetheless, big and beautiful....
