Juror #1 Juror #1 = Hiccup.

One big difference I see between the photograph of Damon and the sketch, is that the man in the sketch has a round face whereas Damon's face is more rectangular. I'll admit that there is resemblence but the drawing is not that close.

Hi..FRES..yeah, in that kind of a mood...abit "somber".
Actually, I've been trying to compose an opus to Court TV. Nancy Grace hit skid row today, when she complained because the Jury dared to take a lunch break.
"I have my sandwich at my desk" she says. She gets substantially more than $15 bucks a day, I would bet the farm on it, LOL!
When we get the "warning" the verdict has been reached, I will turn to FOX news and ONLY switch to CTV if there is an acquital or the jury is hung..to watch them come unglued.
NO MORE COURT TV as long as Lisa Bloom, Beth Karas and Nancy Grace are there. They don't care if we hate them, as long as we watch.
So switch channels, guys...and let the sponsors know why.

Profile of Juror #1 Juror #1 in the pool. A woman who works as a welfare-eligibility worker for San Diego County. During jury selection, she expressed concerns about the behavior of Brenda van Dam, the victim's mother.FWIW, beth carass (sp?) the other night on geraldo (i think) was asked what she could tell us about the jurors and the only thing she said was that juror #1, a woman, seemed to be very interested whenever feldman was speaking and very uninterested with dusek (big shock)and she felt this woman was likely to be on the defense-side

Have any of you had the stomache to read Dusek's closing
arguments?
I'd like to know if he said (or eluded to) DW killed Danielle *in* her bedroom? If he did, then all that business about her being raped in the RV really doesn't hold water. (It doesn't even make a good fairy tale.)
Feldman said Dusek said that & he was knocked back by the judge.

Don't you think there would be some evidence on those comforters of a rape of a child?
Have we told you today that you're a genius?
The drycleaning not killing DNA info is from a New York Times article about Monica's stained dress. It specifically said that detergent can kill DNA, but not drycleaning alone.

Today is the anniversary of the murder of Nancy Grace's fiancee many, many, many years ago. She mentioned that earlier today. You guys can hate Dusek (no problem), I hate Nancy Grace. I don't like Damon either.

That last sentence has stuck in my mind for weeks & weeks. I've never heard of a juror make a statement even similar to it, in any trial. (I've seen hundreds of trials and heard about a lot of jurors, their actions/remarks, etc.)

If its a not guilty verdict, I'm turning on CTV to witness the un-glueing!!! I don't want to miss that. Of course if its guilty I won't be able to stand the smugness that will surely follow. I'm hopeing for not guilty on Nasty's watch.

Question--IIRC there was no DNA found on the comforters and pillow shams/cases that were drycleaned. Is that correct? --- Someone posted the other day that drycleaning doesn't degrade or eliminate DNA. (can't remember who, sorry) Don't you think there would be some evidence on those comforters of a rape of a child? The prosecution wants us to believe she was raped in that motorhome and the comforters were taken to the cleaners to get rid of DNA evidence. Any thoughts on this? Here are some thoughts.
The comforters were taken to the cleaners to get rid of the DNA.
Why did the DNA (which would have to include body fluids, blood, if Danielle was raped/killed on them) DISAPPEAR due to DRY CLEANING?
BUT, the 'jacket', even though going through the same dry cleaners, not only had DNA, but it was PERFECT. HAD NOT DEGRADED at all.
My biggest question is whether the jacket the police 'found' DNA on was the jacket he dropped off on 02/04 or whether it was the one dropped off on 01/26 ???????????????????????????????????????

send me $20 bucks and I will tell you 8 numbers that WILL NOT be drawn on the next lottery. No problem, I do it all the time Yeah, me too. I keep trying anyway.
To: the Deejay
I'd like to know if he said (or eluded to) DW killed Danielle *in* her bedroom? Dusek would never argue the theory that Danielle was killed in her own bedroom. The place of her death is a problem for him, and he left it open intentionally.

You're right, some of the angles of the face are not similar. What keeps jumping out at me, though, are the eyebrows and the flat-in-the-front face. I don't know how to say what I'm trying to describe, but when you look at someone in profile, and there's basically a smooth plane with a nose sticking out a bit, as opposed to a protruding chin or full lips or prominent cheekbones or bulging forehead. More flattened-off like a bulldog face (not dog-like, but just that all the features protrude about the same amount).

And was Orwell an atheist or an agnostic?I seem to recall Orwell making a statement that "he hoped he was right" about being an atheist; in my book, that makes one an agnostic (greek = 'no knowledge'). REAL Atheists (greek = 'no deity'), from what I have seen on some of my favorite dust ups here on FR, have a faith that would put many of my brothers and sisters in Christ to shame.
You know, after 9/11 I think the whole world moved beyond where Orwell ever got to, do you?
I don't know about beyond--but closer, definately closer.

"Day-leaf" ie daily "leaf" as in "sheet" of paper.

I think that Feldman was just trying to carry out Dusek's wild theory to its logical conclusion (this piece of the closing came when Feldman was trying to show the jury how absurd Dusek's theory was). Danielle didn't scream or make any noise when DW supposedly grabbed her, so she MUST have been dead. Either that, or she knew the person who took her. I could be wrong, but that's the way it seemed to me.
