Profile of Juror #1 Juror #1 in the pool. A woman who works as a welfare-eligibility worker for San Diego County. During jury selection, she expressed concerns about the behavior of Brenda van Dam, the victim's mother.

FWIW, beth carass (sp?) the other night on geraldo (i think) was asked what she could tell us about the jurors and the only thing she said was that juror #1, a woman, seemed to be very interested whenever feldman was speaking and very uninterested with dusek (big shock)and she felt this woman was likely to be on the defense-side

That last sentence has stuck in my mind for weeks & weeks. I've never heard of a juror make a statement even similar to it, in any trial. (I've seen hundreds of trials and heard about a lot of jurors, their actions/remarks, etc.)
