We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good Morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
A Lousiana state senator has said she will ask the US Air Force to aid in the fight against the West Nile Virus. It is not as far fetched as it might sound - they have a unit that specializes in insect control and eradication.
A British Sunday newspaper stated Saddam would admit weapons inspectors. It is believed to be a ploy to drive a wedge between Britain (where the notion of a war to topple Saddam is unpopular) and the United States (where it is popular).
President Reagan's condition is said to be worsening; he no longer knows who Nancy is. Prayers for an extrodinary American are in order.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good Morning All,
I am off to the land of lakes and mountains today. I will be gone for a week or so.Just a thought, I have never heard mentioned ever which state was the true determinator of the 2000 Election. Take another look at that 2000 red and blue map and do the math. New Hampshire made ALL the difference.
This is a great site, and ATRW is great too. Thanks for all the insights. I am going to go bury my head in the sand and try to not think about stuff for a while. Be well all. I`ll be back!

AND A GOOD A.M. TO ONE AND ALL UN FREEPER LAND, USA FROM THE MS GULF COAST!!!!
Went to get my paper, sun coming up over the Gulf, breathtaking it is......You realize that this is a day that the Lord hath made.
Got out my records of the fifties last night, now that was the kind of music that was made to snuggle close to your dance partner, sure brought back memories, made tears come to my eyes on several occiasions. Such simple times, great times, true times, if we only knew what America was going to turn out to be compared to then.
Start looking, the forces are building up, on the move, gaurdmens being called up, we are going to wake one morning and the bombs will be falling, the arabs crying in their sand, the dogooders here will be whining, talking of dooms day, Say-Damn will showing pictures of old men with unloaded weapongs marching like they did something in their pants, I swear, I think one you see kissing on Say-Damns ring all the time was one we saw during the last war kissing his ring. Always a fresh bunch of generals around him as well, he 'knocks off' a few, promotes a few to take their place, then, it happens all over again.
Talking about Iraq, I see one from Briton went over and met with Say-Damn, big deal. I am so tired of those jerks (with a Capital J) spouting their junk, to heck with them, we can and will do it alone. Look, we are the biggest, best trained military in the world and you know we have the money, something those jerks always have their hand out for, tell them to cancel their post office box, ain't no more checks being mailed to them. What a change you will see, overnight at that.
Its off to get cup # 3, she promised to have everyday type coffee today, I just old fashioned so, prayers for all to stay safe from injuries and kept from illnesses. Please, make it a poing to pray for OUR President every day, he really needs them as he has so much on him and so many snipping at him, its serious. Prayers for the elderly, most of us have seen pressure before and know the importance of prayer. YOU have a good day, I sure am.

Morning Chairman and everyone else!
I was just thinking about President Reagan and wondering how his condition is. I suppose he came to mind when I heard that Charlton Heston has symptoms of Alzheimers. God bless both of them.
Either today or tomorrow we're expecting a visit from some very dear friends who were our next door neighbors for 3 years in China. In fact, we used to share a house with them and had to share a kitchen. I saw them 2 years ago when I was in China, but my wife hasn't seen them for about 6 years. Our house is way too small to host them, but fortunately my parents are out of town so we have their house to put them up in.
Our best memories were of playing a card game called "Hands and Feet." Ever heard of it? We used to put the kids in bed and play men against women. They were from Minnesota and we often listened to Garrison Keillor tapes or sometimes tapes of American radio. It would be the middle of a cold northeast China winter, well below zero, and between songs they'd give the weather report as being in the 90s and it somehow made us feel warmer.

Good morning SY! Wonderful memories. Funny how our most treasured memories are often about dealing with and surviving "hardship"....
My husband and I have similar feelings about our time in Korea, living on the economy, in a cold water flat with very little furniture, and no a.c for the monsoon season. LOL!

First of all, I don't believe you're Nita. Second of all, your pumps and handbag don't match.
O, btw, good morning.
