Hi, all you kiddies...I see you all went to bed. Well with all the swimming and getting ready for the new jobs and so on..I can see why you need your rest.

"Bad Fingers" got his hand fixed today. It was a long ordeal in terms of the time spent at the hospital. We had to be there at 1400 and by 1430 they were wheeling him past the double doors. They must have had a party as the surgery wasn't until 1600! They gave him gas ( he could have had a local or block but the big tough Marine didn't want to see or hear anything...) He was out in about 45 minutes and then we had another hour of recovery in his room. I guess we left about 1730 and on the way home, as I stopped to collect his meds, the bad boy got behind the wheel of the truck and drove home....( with me) but would not get out from behind the wheel. We should have got stopped to teach him a lesson....he did not want to get the vicodin..I can do with out it says he...well at 2300 he took his first round of pain killers! And he took up the whole bed too..boy he is milking this for all it is worth!LOL..Me and Missie will use the guest room...But all went well. thank goodness. Gets the stitches out next week...What a way to get out of yardwork!....:^(.

Will have to catch up with all of you tomorrow nite..Have the gym and then a doctor appt myself..nothing serious, just a baseline bone density scan..

Have fun until I get back. Maybe I'll hit the bakery and we can all have a bed time snack...:)

I triple that grumble. Okay, I have to put on my face and my shoes, then I'll be ready to take the boys to Six Flags. Then I'll look for trouble for myself for the rest of the day until I pick them up.

Hi CG.....good to learn that Ozzy Bad Fingers came thru the surgery in fine shape. I'm always just soooooooooooooo impressed with how 'our men' can handle pain--it's, well, such a manly trait.

And then..._{I lay on the floor laughing hysterically when the 'pain' actually bursts forth from the numbed state of anethesiology which hid the 'ouchie', and they suddenly become the only one in history whose ever had anything done to them that would cause such pain and agony!!!}

How fortunate they are that God gave childbearing to women!! ROTFLMAO!
