I'm from arguably the most conservative state in the US...Idaho...Sens Larry Craig, and Mike Crapo, and Congressmen Mike Simpson and Butch Otter...all conservative Republicans. Their silence is deafening. Maybe because I'm pretty removed from the news of Idaho politics, I'm not aware of all the good things these guys are doing??

When former US senator and current governor Dirk Kempthorne was trying to overhaul the endangered species act, in a town meeting I asked him directly why he wasn't doing more? He said it was impossible to roll back...next question?

It seems the DC environment is so poisoned with the system, these guys all just decide to play the game, or the good ones get fed up and drop out.

Shouldn't you be mopping up a diesel spill with paperwork, rather than breaking my funkle????

;^)

LOL!!

Purely unintentional...hee hee.

Turns out the little coneheads only spilled 1.5 gallons...so we hauled off about 700 pounds of dirt. We have a treatment site where it is contained and we turn it with a grader about once a week and throw a couple of cow flops on the pile. The little bugs like the hydrocarbons and render it inert in a couple of sunny months.

I just sent 3 more...hopefully all different! Don't know why that happened...I saved the pics off the camera to a file on my C drive...when I checked them out, they were, as you said, all the same.
The education continues.

The call this area the Alps of Peru. The view is to the northeast and the twin peaks are the mountain Huascaran which is 22,205 feet...there are over 15 peaks over 20,000 feet elevation in the Cordillera Blanca. One of the prettiest places in the world.

When I first saw the pic, I thought you'd been transferred to Switzerland.

Amazing resemblance.

Matterhorn Lake

I wonder if Barbara Cubin could become the next president of the N.R.A.? I believe that she's one of the vice-presidents on the current board of govenors.

Just a quick drive by...the hubby and boys came back from the camping trip with a little gold and a lot of wonderful memories of fishing ( caught not a one), camping out in tents, swimming in the cold clear waters, telling stories, and just having a grandpa/grandsons bonding session. We take them to LAX tonige for the red eye back to Baltimore/Maryland airport...will be a grind as Ozzzie has pre op work tomorrow for his hand repair on Tuesday.

We are alive and hanging in there. Have had a bad MeanEars week and yesterday was a day of perfect hearing but the barometer is falling and today there is just the slightese bit of pressure..drat and dangit all...but I'll be around...count on me to post another moron stroy later.

I lost the screw to one of my lenses on my cheaters and one of the guys wired it together with a paper clip. I had him leave the long end of the clip sticking straight up in the air and I put a piece of orange flagging on it...now everyone has to stop by my office for a big laugh.
