We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good Morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Another key witness, a friend of Martha Stewart, is cooperating with investigators. Mariana Pasternak, a real estate broker from Westport, CT, was on the plane with Martha Stewart when she sold 4,000 shares of ImClone stock.
WorldCom finds that billions of dollars more have turned up as missing.
Iraqi President Saddam Hussein expressed hope that Britain would not join the United States in attacking his country.
And Tipper Gore, according to Fox News, tried to get free tickets for her, her husband, and the entire Gore staff, but were rebuffed. They were told they would have to pay face value for tickets - $77. Tipper passed.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I have read and re-read the Chairman's initial report and it still doesn't say what the tickets are for. Was she asking for airline tickets? Tickets to the opera? Tickets to a baseball game? What the heck were the tickets for?

Very fun reading, Lysie! Earlier this week I posted something about that letter to Hamas. What a hoot! Here's an excerpt about that from the article:
Someone should stop Megally from nipping that bottle and remind her that deep down inside, when terrorists' inner children are watching "Barney," they're really plotting how to blow up the talking eggplant.

The tickets were for a Bruce Springstein concert. I don't blame her for trying to get them for free. No harm asking. I also don't blame her for not wanting to pay $77 per person.

Thanks for clearing that up, Bit. We don't have a TV and nothing has been said on the radio about it (I have a feeling that here in Tennessee, Al may be fair game, but not Tipper) so I was really in the dark about this.

There seems to be a new word in the English language that came in to use while I wasn't paying attention. What is a "blog" and what do "bloggers" do?

Just checked the Indy paper online. Interesting local news:
Conseco may declare bankruptcy (big insurance firm that was run by a crook who got a big golden parachute)
Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will be here for the festivities leading up to the US Grand Prix at the Speedway, in late September, although he will probably not attend the race itself.
Police are looking for someone who shot a gas station attendant last night. Gas station attendant was a 50 yr. old with an Arabic name.
Indiana State Fair opens tomorrow.

The Saudies, what to do with them, they had better give our request a lot of thought, they are a hair from becoming another Iran. The radicals are going to make bon fires out of the 'famliy' tree, the rulers. They sure better give us some more serious thought.

The Saudies, what to do with them,I'm leaning towards re-colonizing the entire Arab world. Should take about six weeks.
Take care of that back.

Bloggers are people who check hits/activity of various web sites..Now if you wanna get tecnical, and name them more appropriately, after the inventor of the iternet, you should really call them Algores.

T'is amazing. The more the democRATs and their willing accomplices in the media try to damage W., the more his poll numbers go up. Sweet.

Not that I should ever doubt a word from you, but somehow that doesn't quite make sense with how I see the word used. David Horowitz's FrontPage.com now features "David's blog." There is a fun website called Instapundit.com and the guy who runs it, a law professor from the University of Tennessee, refers to himself as a "blogger." I had assumed it had a meaning similar to pundit or editorialist. Are you sure it's just someone who checks hits?

GOOD MORNING CS

This is Bit:
Blog is short for 'web log', a kind of stream of consciousness website where people just post opinions about anything at all. National Review has a blog called
The Corner, which is quite good; Andrew Sullivan also has one everyone seems to read.
Interestingly, the Blog phenomenon has coined a new term -- the Bleg. A Bleg is a Blog entry in which somebody pleads for help with something...begging on a Blog is a Bleg ;)

AND they try so hard to slam OUR President W but he just keeps on keeping on, what a man, a leader. All they can do is parade 'Zipperronic' before us, not much as you can see. Wonder how they feel bout the poll showing 'Zipperronic' being only at something around 12% in honesty, Sheesh.
To: Jemian
I put this in the category, "it doesn't hurt to ask." I would ask too, The tone of the article, however, suggests they expected to get the tickets free (because of their "status").
