MO....the scary thing is....this sumabeach had the balls/guts/whatever to apply for the principal's position at a school in an adjoining district!
I was lamenting one time to the friend/neighbor/hairdresser I used over in Montana about this one time, and she told me that this teacher had made her oldest son stand on the floor of the gym in front of a section of bleachers and had the class sit on the bleachers and throw bean bags at him because Russell hadn't done something exactly like the teacher had wanted or ordered!
She told me he also had a reprimand letter put in his file! What do they do with these letters--use for toilet paper? Or to line the gerbil cages in the kindergarden or first grade rooms?

The principal saying jail is all that stopped me--and it wasn't for fear of sitting in a jail cell....but Gene was near the point of dialysis and wasn't able to do much of anything around the ranch....it was like cold water cooling me down.
Everytime I saw that bastard's face though, my hands would ball up in a fist! I filled in at the school as the School Clerk one winter when Kathy had major surgery....so I got to see him at least 1x a day!
But you know, his brother and sister-in-law also taught at that school.....and were very well thought of--Carole handled the math team--they traveled around the state and did competitions--she was really great with them.

Beer truck overturns; snarls traffic on major road
By S.K. BARDWELL
Copyright 2002 Houston Chronicle
"I thought it smelled like Oktoberfest," said Deborah Williams of the traffic snarl that trapped her in southeast Houston today.
Williams, a 20-year-old preparing to return to classes at Southwest Texas State University, obviously knows her festivals.
Trying to leave her home in the Santa Rosa subdivision early today, Williams got caught in a line of traffic so long she couldn't see the cause of the backup.
"So I was just thinking about school, and friends, and stuff, and I started thinking how we'd all go to Oktoberfest in New Braunfels," Williams said.
"It didn't occur to me what made me start thinking that until I got up close enough to see the accident."
Gallons and gallons of beer, spilled from an 18-wheeler that police said turned over when the driver tried to take a turn at Telephone Road and Wayside Drive too quickly about 6 a.m. this morning.
No one was hurt in the accident, but it took a few hours to clean up the fragrant mess, and snarled traffic in the area during rush hour.
"But that's OK," Williams laughed. "It could have been meat, or chemicals, some really nasty smell."

Check the weather channel on the 'net. I know I suffered from a couple of whoppers with our latest barometric changes.
Did I ever tell you that livestock producers have known that barometric changes affect living beings? In livestock, after a severe storm and before the critters are due to start calving, there will be an 'outbreak of early births'.....scientists say it is due to barometric pressure changes on the uteruses of pregnant critters.

I don't have a date. I'm meeting a pal for lunch tomorrow. Either that, or I'll be reading a magazine and drinking iced tea by myself in a restaurant tomorrow.
Oops, it's after midnight -- I guess that will happen today, not tomorrow.
To: ValerieUSA
Oooops .. sorry .. your meeting

This is happening 5 years too late for my diabetic husband who died of transplant complications in Seattle - but I'm glad to see progress in the field. This is a pretty good in-depth article:
http://www.king5.com/topstories/NW_073002HEBislettransplant.404a3067.html
Diabetes cure being pioneered in Seattle
SEATTLE - On May 30, Elizabeth Kresse became the first person in the Northwest to receive an islet transplant. The tiny cells are working to cure her diabetes.
"This is big this is a life change. This is a new life ... and it's going to be a better life," said Kresse.
One week later, Jackie Westcott, and another type 1 diabetic, David Ellis, would be among the first patients anywhere to receive a combination kidney and islet transplant....

I need to pay attention more .. LOL
Well I hope you have a nice lunch even if he is not your "type

Thanks, Mo. Fun, huh? *L* I just want to get it over with. It's a bravery test.
What brand of copier/printer/fax combo did you get? I hate my printer which just doesn't work.
