She told me he also had a reprimand letter put in his file!

I'd wonder if they actually put a letter in his file

WOW .. there must be one heck of a pressure change going on outside because my head is killing me and my eyes hurt

Beer truck overturns; snarls traffic on major road

"I thought it smelled like Oktoberfest," said Deborah Williams of the traffic snarl that trapped her in southeast Houston today.

Williams, a 20-year-old preparing to return to classes at Southwest Texas State University, obviously knows her festivals.

Trying to leave her home in the Santa Rosa subdivision early today, Williams got caught in a line of traffic so long she couldn't see the cause of the backup.

"So I was just thinking about school, and friends, and stuff, and I started thinking how we'd all go to Oktoberfest in New Braunfels," Williams said.

"It didn't occur to me what made me start thinking that until I got up close enough to see the accident."

Gallons and gallons of beer, spilled from an 18-wheeler that police said turned over when the driver tried to take a turn at Telephone Road and Wayside Drive too quickly about 6 a.m. this morning.

No one was hurt in the accident, but it took a few hours to clean up the fragrant mess, and snarled traffic in the area during rush hour.

"But that's OK," Williams laughed. "It could have been meat, or chemicals, some really nasty smell."

Check the weather channel on the 'net. I know I suffered from a couple of whoppers with our latest barometric changes.

Did I ever tell you that livestock producers have known that barometric changes affect living beings? In livestock, after a severe storm and before the critters are due to start calving, there will be an 'outbreak of early births'.....scientists say it is due to barometric pressure changes on the uteruses of pregnant critters.
