I imagine his secret service guys are saying..."why doesn't this idiot just shut his stupid mouth?"
I've had an active interest and involvement in politics for years and there have been politicians that have irritated me to no end, but never have I despised anyone to the extent I do Bill Clinton. There are so many things to despise!!
To: sweetliberty
I wonder if any ex-pres. in history has been openly ridiculed as much as the Slick one?
To: Cuttnhorse
I never knew such detestable people existed before the Clintons. Maybe I was naive, but my attitudes about a great many things has changed since their rise to power and the subsequent decline of the US.

"I wonder if any ex-pres. in history has been openly ridiculed as much as the Slick one?" That is the legacy he has earned and is deserving of.

There are so many things to despiseSo many that it is impossible to remember them all. He really was and is a loathesome figure. Shame on us for electing him.

Hi Mo,
How are the Ninos doing today? My kids are pretty much staying out of trouble today. All the trucks are going around in circles and the bulldozer operators are generally behaving. Had to have a stern talking to the excavator operator, but in general I didn't have to send anyone to sit in the corner.

What's your altitude these days?
To: ValerieUSA
I've been working on a project in the mine between the 3980 level and the 4050 level...13,057' and 13,287'. Not too bad here.
To: Cuttnhorse; everyone
Hey Cuttn - have you ever cruised S. America in a ship?
My bil called with a two week deal from Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Puerto Madryn, Port Stanley, through the Cape, Ushuaia, Argentina, Punta Arenas, Chile, Straight of Magellan, the Chilean Fjords, Patagonic Channel, Canal Moraleda, Puerto Chacabuco, Puerto Montt, Chile, and then docking in Valparaiso. Using the Norwegian Cruise Line.
Sounds like a fascinating two weeks - I'd just never thought of visiting SA except on the internet. ;-)
To: Cuttnhorse
I don't think I could handle trying to breathe anywhere over 9,000'
If you can tolerate such an altitude, is it beneficial or detrimental to your overall health to be up there?

Loddy,
That sounds like a great trip...you'll get a real flavor of S.A. with this itinerary.
I wish you were stopping in La Serena, Chile, (north of Santiago...and I've seen Noregian cruise ships docked there)...I'd pick you up and show you the town. I could probably arrange a tour of where I earn my cookies, I promise you'd find that interesting.
Puerto Montt isn't such a great place, but if you rent a car and drive about 25 k to Puerto Varas it's beautiful. Right on a huge lake, Lago Manquihue with a spectacular view of Volcan Osorno, one of those cool snow-capped, conical volcanos. Good restaurants in Puerto Veras too. The ship probably has a day trip available and you should take it if the trip goes to Lago Manquihue, it will be a great trip.
The wife and I were there in Jan. and, natch, went on a three-day horse trip up into the sticks.
You will like Valparaiso too.
Sounds like a nice trip, I'd recommend it. Write to the captain and tell him to stop in La Serena!!
Cheers
