Good to see ya - four bones an hour is cheap enough for a FR fix. The dopey hotel in Charleston charged a buck and a quarter a MINUTE.
Yowser.
Keep us posted on the earthquakes and other happenings in your corner of the world. JL

Still trying to figure out how the bat got in the house. It was all closed up because the A/C was on. The attic is shut tight. The only thing I can figure is it found a way into the basement. There is know door to close for the basement and the house is over 80 years old.

Another corporate scandal hits America: Albertsons loses apostrophe
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Albertson's Inc. is jettisoning its apostrophe, to the chagrin of two Oregon grammarians. The missing apostrophe, dropped last spring in legal papers and official documents, has not gone unnoticed.
In February 2000, Roy Paul Nelson and John Benneth noticed the apostrophe was missing from a sign.
They formed the American Apostrophe Association and demanded that the mark be restored.
But the possessive punctuation never returned to the signs.
Blame Canada.
Really.
The Québecers forbid possessive puncuation in signage. Canada is a bilingual and it's just not FRENCH doncha know...
To: null and void
ooooh... blame Canada! I like it! *L* And the French, too!

I think he's trying to congratulate himself for the amazing restraint it took to NOT blame his
predecses ... uhh.. the previous incumbent.
Then the ex-president added pointedly, "Now you know, I didn't blame his father for Somalia, when we had that awful day memorialized in 'Black Hawk Down.' I didn't do that."
The Somalia raid, which ended with 18 U.S. soldiers dead and 75 wounded, took place on Oct. 3, 1993 - more than nine months into Clinton's presidency. After soldiers on the ground revealed that the Clinton administration had turned down requests for equipment that would have prepared U.S. forces for the deadly attack, then-Defense Chief Les Aspin was forced to resign.

Schweiker is a cutie... but not running for election because he wants to spend time with his wife and 3 kids. After this week, he could sail through Senate confirmation as Sec. of Homeland Security.
