The vet tech came and we got the full 250ml in him tonite and I think he is perking up a bit. But I looked up the hypertensive cream and I think it is affecting his taste buds. Even the stuff he really loves he just nibbles at a little. Normally he likes to subscribe to Miss Piggy's Diet"
Never eat at one sitting more than you can lift!
He sort of likes Yummies L/D (liver food for his condition and wouldn't you know it, Yummie liked Nacho's K/D kidney food for his condition. ) So I've sort of mixed the two together just a little to get them to just eat right....
Now I need to learn to eat right for my ear..no salt, no sugar, no chocolate, no coffee, no booze..Maybe I should just pretend I am a goat and graze in the yard...:^(. And what is just out of the oven....BROWNIES.... Nully..get your glass of milk...you too Darlin and Val and Swervie...and of course MO and .38 you need some energy now...but we can only have half the pan cuz the other half has to go in the freezer for the camping trip... but later next week I'll be making oatmeal cookies too for the trip so I'll make extra for all of you...get the milk.....

I have never heard of the Norwalk virus.
Nearly 175 people aboard Alaska cruise fall ill
Friday, July 26, 2002
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
VANCOUVER, B.C. -- Dozens of passengers aboard a Holland America week-long cruise to Alaska fell ill with what a cruise line spokesman says may be a common virus.
The Ryndam docked here Thursday after the Alaska voyage.
In all, 163 passengers and nine crew members were reported to be suffering flu-like symptoms.
Cruise ships must report an illness when more than 3 percent of passengers on board are affected, said Holland America spokesman Erik Elvejord. In this case, nearly 13 percent fell ill. A reported 1,266 people were on board.
The cruise line is awaiting lab test results to determine the culprit but Elvejord said Holland America thinks a virus similar to the Norwalk virus is to blame. He said cases of the Norwalk virus have been reportedly recently in Alaska.
The ship's crew has disinfected all rooms and common areas of the ship.
A Norwalk-type virus is believed to have sickened 100 of 170 campers at a Christian children's camp on British Columbia's coast northwest of here.
"These outbreaks are very common," said Jamal Harb of Health Canada. "Norwalk-like virus is on the increase here in B.C. and in Alberta. We're investigating but the reasons for that, I don't know."

CG....how are y'all getting the fluid in, via IV drip or subcutaneous injection of so many ccs in several areas of loose skin? 250 ccs is a good amount of fluid! Yikes....a hell of a good amount. I used to have a lamb that had a condition where fluid would build up in his hip joint and I would have to draw off the fluid with a 60 cc syringe! And I thought that was a large amount of fluid for a lamb!! Oh well....
The lack of appetitie in my critters always worried me--it seems like that is such a big clue early on that they are not feeling so hot.
You may have hit on a winner--that is, mixing the 2 foods together!! Great idea! My Tux will eat anything--he simply is not particular whereas Little Girl--see my comments elsewhere. She's always been an odd duck--never cared for raw meat; not even much of a mouser!
Psssssssttt...CG--how did ya manage to make Brownies without chocolate? I certainly don't envy your dietary restrictions, girl! Coffee? Might as well bury me with that one! I've cut back a lot, but how is it possible to start a day off without a couple of cups at least? There's still a few things that have to have salt in order to be 'edible' for me, LOL!
And mercy, I can forego cookies and cakes and such....but how on earth does one drink iced tea that isn't sweetened?
Well....at least smelling the brownies doesn't contain calories....or does it? I swear I used to could watch my Dad and brother eat ice cream and I would gain weight from just watching!!!

With all that signing, it must surely mean that CONGRATULATIONS are in order to the official new home owners! That's just great, Cheri. :)

Thank you! We were signing all the stuff necessary for the loan and title and everything else. Closing is scheduled for Thursday morning. I am sooooo ready to get out of this little dump and into the new (new to us) house. Our broiler went out on Wednesday, and our closet collapsed a couple of weeks ago, and dumped all of our clothes on the floor. I see these thing as omens! Time to move. I just hope the refrigerator lasts another week!
I had to give up coffee cold turkey several months ago. I developed a hypersensitivity to caffeine, and I really miss it...Oh well. I know chocolate has caffeine in it, but apparently it isn't enough to bother me. Thank god for small favors. And with that, I'm off to bed.

Ah, shucks.....I recall you said closing was scheduled for the 1st of August....I jes figured with all that signing stuff, it was happening sooner rather than later!
You and Mr. .38 are gonna have so much fun with your new home.
Good evening to you, Cheri.....I'm gonna knock it off, too.....its nearly 11:30 here.
It's been enjoyable y'all....

Anybody see the Clinton rant on FoxNews this morning? He trashed Bush for corporate accounting problems and for the middle east unrest, then bragged on himself for "working hard for eight years to fix those things" but being thwarted by evil Republicans, then said that Republicans have trashed him because "that is what they do" and that he "never criticized them," all the while slinging the same old mud while grinning that same old sleazy grifter grin.
He remains the vile, despicable creature he was.
To: catpuppy
I'm glad I didn't see it. I avoid reading articles about Clinton, and if his ugly mug shows up on TV, I hit the remote with a speed I didn't know I possessed. Anyway, here is a photo of a flag composed entirely of larkspur, planted by a commercial seed company. It is 740' by 390'. Each star is 5 feet across, each stripe is 30 feet wide. It is views daily by pilots using Vandenburg Airforce Base.

YIPPEE. You got your house. Oh I am so excited. When can we move? You are taking us with, aren't you? :) We started house searching around the same time. I believe LisaAnne did too. Now, you two are situated, I am still where I was. :) Typical of me. That's okay, too many of us moving at one time would be confusing. Um-huh. GOOD MORNING FReeoples, wherever you are.
To: Mo1
Good morning, Mo. Yes, it is getting close. We signed every paper you can imagine. It was done Friday to assure closing on time on Thursday, and I'm told I won't have to sign anything else except the check. These papers go to the lending institution so that the loan is funded by Thursday. I'd better get busy packing...
