A couple of days ago in Walmart there was a Muslim woman. She was wearing a get up that would make the traditional nun's habit look risque. The fabric was very heavy, hardly summer weight, and her entire face was covered except for her eyes with the same heavy fabric. Darn near a burqa. So anyway, she's got a couple of little kids with her and a baby. She sits down in the shoe department and proceeds to nurse the baby. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't think there is anything wrong with nursing, even publicly if it is done discreetly, but I couldn't help thinking that this was a bit hypocritical, at least it appeared that way.
I feel sorry for the women in a way, but I cannot help but feel contempt for mideasterners and Muslims anymore. Watching the little boy playing I couldn't help wondering if he was being trained to hate America.

And now another Clintonoid, former Chief of Staff Erskine Bowles, a U.S. Senate wannabe in North Carolina, "is taking heat for a corporate scandal as a board member of Merck Pharmaceutical Inc., which is accused of inflating revenue by $12 billion," the Times reported.
North Carolina's Republican Party blasted Bowles' "unwillingness to explain his role in a string of disastrous investments while a managing partner of investment bank Forstmann Little that led to the loss of more than $100 million for Connecticut retirees."
Sounds like he would fit right in as a Senetor.
