Now I would love to see Anne Coulter peel him down to his soppy liberal bed wetting diaper. His tears would never cease. She is comming up in a few minutes on Hannity and Colmes. Let's see what she can do with ol Allen. He He He.

The hubby and I went up to Seattle, early on Friday, and just returned this afternoon...driving up along I5, Mt. Rainier, was just sticking up, looking so proud...the sky was clear, but hazy, and it was quite the sight...I just now got back online after having been gone for several days, so just now read the article you pinged me to, concerning Mt. Rainier...
When my husband was returning to Sea-Tac last June, he said as they were getting close to Sea-Tac, the sky was so clear, and as the plane began to decrease altitude, it seemed as if they were almost right next to Mt. Rainier, it looked so close, as if he could reach out and touch it...
When he looked out his window, at just a critical time, he could see Mt. Hood, Mt St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Rainier, all at the same time...he said it was just pure luck that from his angle, and with a clear blue sky that day, he was presented with this lovely sight, for ever so short a time....
The weather here in Washington was beautiful, and warm and so our weekend up in Seattle was great...We did go down to the wharf, in the early evening, hoping to get dinner, but it was so jammed, with tourists, we gave up and went down to near the Ballard Locks, for a fine seafood meal...even so, being that the weather was so nice, every restaurant there was jammed...but service and the meal, once we got seated were superb...
Sunday we went to Pike Market, and it was jammed with the usual visitors, plus all the tourists...we bought lots of homemade crafts, lots of goodies to cook at home, and of course, had to gorge ourselves with all the international treats being offered up...
We had such a fun weekend, going up to Seattle for a few days, is like having a mini vacation....
On the drive home this afternoon, again, the sky was clear and blue, but still hazy....however, Mt. Rainier was so beautiful, and you also see all the Olympics, across the sound...
We may have lots of rain and grey days for about 9months or so out of the year, but our summer months, more than make up for that dreariness....
While we were up in Seattle, we did some driving around to view areas, we normally have not been used to seeing...one such lovely area, was Queen Anne Hill...I had never been to that area of Seattle, and its just beautiful there...lovely homes, heavily wooded streets, almost no commercial stuff, it just looked like neighborhoods, out of the earlier part of this century...the streets tho, were so narrow, and two way, its difficult to drive, as you always have to pull over to let other cars pass...I think those streets were made for horses, because no city planner in his right mind would have made the streets there so narrow, that only one car can go through at a time...still, if I could have a house anywhere in Seattle, it would be up on Queen Anne HIll...Of course, I suppose prices start at about $500,00 or so...but still, one can dream...

Val, could you post the link to your Fotki site?
