I cant help it! A name is something you are stuck with the rest of your life. I sometimes watch the closing credits of movies just to look for interesting names, or possibly someone I knew from high school.

There isn't any difference. Each seat on that plane has a price and if you take up two seats you ought to pay for two seats. If you spill over into another passenger's seat you need to pay for using that seat. It ain't rocket science.

I flew to Reno when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant, and I was glad the plane wasn't crowded. I was flying for two, but did not want to pay for two.

Oh that is soooooo true..I just dread it when I am already seated ( I like the asile) and these behemoths come waddling down the asile making the plane's wings dip first to the left then to the right....

Seriously, I have been on huge aircraft when the passanger list is light ( at Christmas on the redeye) and the attendants make people move around to balance the weight of the aircraft. Can't you just imagine trying to rearrange the plane manifest list of people to fit the balance requirements! The fat lady on the show said her daughter is only 4'something ( little girl) and that she is tiny. Well a freezer would have been tiny next to her. And she said her husband was average size. And the fat man on the other side of the lawyer who is representing these two was something..somewhat comparing himself to one of those big football players. Looking at this lot it was something like this X1X X=the fat people..the really fat people. Just had a thought..when these two get out of the tiny seats in an airplane the sound must be like a cork coming out of a wine bottle...*L*

Airlines are usually very accomodating and when the cabin isn't full they certainly do not object to larger or taller passengers using two seats. The same is true of a mother with a toddler.

Well, there are seats onboard most planes that can accomodate larger people, they're called First Class. LOL. Lots of folks, big and small, buy seats up there for the extra seat and leg room.

I have no use for two seats, just 2 more inches of leg room.. or a little warning before the person in front of me goes into full recline mode!

If no on is sitting in the seat beside you, you can raise the armlift and kinda sit at an angle giving yourself more legroom. LOL I do that all the time. :)
