Thanks catpuppy -- white horses look special, don't they?

Heyyyyyyyyyyy Catpuppy. SMOOCH. I know. I just can't seem to stay focused long enough to follow Swervies instructions. I'm here one day, gone the next, kinda thing.
To: ValerieUSA
Yes they do. The contract in that picture is great, considering all the white. You did good.
To: ValerieUSA
I would love to visit there again, too. When would you like to go? We will partee on the squaaarre. LOL. What fun.

A friend of mines wife worked for Midway in public relations, she survived the first round of layoffs but left for a job at CP&L... smart move.

You need to get out more.

There's a beautiful courtyard park/square on every block! Must be dozens. I love that city!! The kids weren't as thrilled with it as I was -- must be a place for grown-ups (if I qualify *L*)
Even the backs of the buildings were interesting:

SWERVIE, I know VP Cheney left Haliburton 6 months before he had too, not even KNOWING if he would win the election. I KNOW he sold stocks, at the Democrats/media whores insistence, etc. I know he gave away 8 million bucks to charity from sale of stocks, etc. Can you source any of that for me? Not right now, if you are busy or tired, just sometime soon. It's for my e-mail thingie, that has grown to over 5,000 souls. :)Of that 5,000 every blessed one of them forward my mail on to folks on their lists. LOL. I say all that with great glee. It's a start.
To: catpuppy
LOL.
To: ValerieUSA
Oh yes there is. But, there is only ONE squaaaaare. Ask Darlin'. :)
To: Letitring
I am gonna take a long nap soon, but I will find sources tonight and E-Mail them

I must have missed that square -- not the old cemetery? *L* Is it bt River Street?
To: Servant of the Nine
Okay Precious. I do so appreciate it. :) Meantime I am sending what I've got. :) SMOOCH. Naps? Take me. I slept hardly any last night. Too much on my mind, I guess.

Here is the view from Lisa's deck:

The cable company I have, COMCAST (Ted Turner) won't let us have FOX news. Burns me up. I have CNN or PSMBCLook into DishNetwork or Direct TV. The one with the little bitty satellite dish. You get a lot more channels, and you'll get FOX news, and it only costs a couple bucks more than cable. We like it, there are music channels, too.
Hi, Ringy! :)

Val, those trees look like the scene surrounding the field where I spent the day on the neighbor's tractor. The sun was hot but as commonly happens here, a nice breeze found some cool air to push down the little valley. It did get scary, though. My red Jeep parked near the blue Ford Tractor looked like a giant Ratty post.

I'm going to the kitchen to think about dinner and see what happens. *L* I suspect it will involve pork ribs, since there's a pkg in the fridge. BBL
To: catpuppy
I'll bet you were spooked -- but I'm sure the local bears would protect you from any wayward ratts

I didn't take that picture, Lisa did. It's a view from the deck of her new place in California. Pretty wild, isn't it?
To: ValerieUSA
It's a view from the deck of her new place in California. And it appears to be tree-sitter free, yhats always a plus.
