seems to me market had hit 8000 mark amidst huge jubilation
then it was revealed clinton was corrupt
it seemed illogical to me that prosperity would continue to grow the way it was
when we had corrupt president who stopped promoting trade
(instant impeachment was over)
and started war instead
if now it is back to 8000 mark, that seems ok
doesnt it
because what was there to feed the expansion after corrupt president is revealed and trade is no longer promoted?
and mideast is trouble spot

I think we are very close to a low, at least for a while, in this time frame this week.It coincides with the 40 week cycles lows, which last hit on Sept21, 2001, and my work suggest a target of about 416 on the NYSE Composite is in reach.Its now at 430.If this is the end of it or not depends.

Yes, companies do get into trouble when the environment goes bad for them, and ones that have high debt go bust.

Hay guys,,all the cats were up and at em at 0500 this morning. Nacho seems better..he was on the footstool in the bedroom chriping away...he ate and he even got some of him antacids down..but later I gotta get the fluids in him by subq..wish me luck..and better needles.

Going to be warm in these parts today so the weather lady tells us. We have no AC so I best get the windows closed now.

The fabric and reupholstery lady comes by this afternoon. We decided to just recover our couch..It is a really strong one ..it is about 44 years old..at least as old as my oldest step daughter...and it has never been abused except by YUMMIEE who put his paws on the arm and shredded it!The little booger...We found a couch we loved..length was perfect but way to wide from the wall out to the room 48" and that put it out in the middle of the room..

best be hopping along..got to get to the gym and make a bunch of phone calls...will try to drop in later.

promised to pay it back with interest
and both bank and enron lied
to say the 500 million ''windfall'' came from selling oil
they were duping investors
instead of selling oil
they were borrowing money
would you invest in company which pretends its debt is profit
the banks offered this enron deal to many other companies
how many other companies took the banks up on this deal
