Hi PV.....the market will sort out the baddies, believe it.As for today, well, it was explosive, but I'm not convinced yet.I can't find anything that is ready to explode up to new highs to make it for real.That is always the real and only test worth its salt.

I swim and swim and then I stop to look around and next thing I know I am slowly using my left foot to twirl counter clockwise

Bill took Happy to park today cause our wash is still flooded from rain two days ago
I took Lulu out but it was too hot for me
we came right home
I brought pot with water which turned to ice to set outside for when Happy came home
so he'd have frosty water
Lulu instantly began lapping the ice
she found it fun

We saw tiny little girl in her panties
with tiny little dog
in their fenced-in yard
little girl was so curious bout Lulu
it was like tableau, the little dog, the little girl, and big Lulu
(compared to them she looked big)
all curious bout each other

I guess it's your job to follow these companies

it crosses my mind now there are always signs when something is ''funny'
but as long as we believe in things, we choose to discount those signs

thinking of myself now, it seems to me I discount everything
until it is made obvious
but I have progressed
I used to continue to discount it even after it was obvious

I now think you were right all along when you ssid what does financial scandal have to do with politics
it doesn't

there isn't anymore corruption in politics to be revealed
it's already been revealed
this may be the beginning tho of the revealing of corruption in finance
I wonder what it will lead to?

I don't advise on stocks, I just trade them.I'm not a broker:-)It takes honing a skill to spot when things don't "look right" and if they don't, its ALWAYS best to get out and re-evaluate.

There have always been bad eggs in every bull market and when things turn, they get revealed.And the outcry is one I've heard lots of times, with calls for "reform" etc...

yes I can see why it would take honing a skill
when something doesn't fit for me, either I doubt myself,
or figure it's negligible or accidental
maybe I'll start to pay more attention to those little things which don't fit
they have a story to tell
the trick seems to be, do I want to hear it?

Too bad you did not have a camera, to capture Lulus meeting on film....the little girl, and her little dog, captivated by the plump Lulu...I imagine it really was a sweet and interesting picture...

After my dad had died, I was still going down to California to take care of my mom with her Alzheimers...I traveled with my dogs back and forth to California....tho one time I left Bully and Sheeba at home with BigDom and Andy, and just took Helga with.....

One day, a very cute, very tiny, little miniature daschund appeared in my parents driveway....he seemed to be lost, and he was the cutest thing...Helga took an instant liking to him, and he to her....when I opened the door for Helga to come inside, this little scamp followed right behind...it was late at night, too late to go knocking on peoples doors, to find out if this little guy belonged to them...so I just kept him overnite...

He ate dinner with Helga, and at bedtime, when Helga jumped into bed with me, this little guy also got into bed with us....he burrowed under the covers and Helga followed...all I could see was these two forms, one very large, and one very small, moving around, and tails wagging...I figured they were having some sort of a love fest going on, under the blankies...Helga was spayed, so I did not worry about babies....

Next day, I fed them both breakfast, and took them outside....the little guy, promptly took off, and went down the street, and apparently into his own yard...I guess his people never missed him a whole lot, as many folks in Cal, used to leave their dogs outside overnite, and they apparently never knew that overnight, their little daschund came over to my parents house, for an evening of fun, food, and under blankie loving....

A slow night, so should I tell a story...yes, I will...

As I have said before, my dad was quite a funny guy, and odd...he was trying to think up new and interesting things to do or say, to shock or amuse folks...

Now, even when I was a kid, we all knew that 'professional wrestling' was fake, fake, fake...it certainly was not as glitzy as it is today, but growing up, and watching those wrestling matches on the old black and white TV, was a vast source of amusement...Bruno Sanmartino, Haystacks Calhoun,(who looked like he weighed 600lbs, and wore a horseshoe on a chain around his neck)...Arnold Skolund aka The Golden Boy, Miguel Torres(who I never ever saw win a match), Buddy Rogers, and his manager who name escapes me, but he was a sharp dresser, and so many others....

What I remember was the fans were obnoxious and enthusiastic, the wrestlers were so odd, the ring and the sets seemed cheapie, and it was all good fun...

But even in my day, there was always those who became extemely insulted if you dared to suggest, that wrestling was all fake, and that these wrestlers had to know some basic moves, but that the matches were all fake, and fixed in advance...(Come on, how can one wrestler, jump on anothers stomach, and not cause damage?)

And even some of my friends, were convinced that wrestling was not fake....

So my dad decided to do something about that...My brother was probably around 11 or 12 at this time...my dad and my brother, then decided to come up with their own wrestling match, and fake people out...now my dad was not real tall, but he was a big husky man, with a big husky voice, and big hands, and of course, my brother at the time, was just a fairly normaly sized 11yr old...so the size difference between the two of them was for sure noticeable...

Dad and my brother watched and studied those wrestling matches on Tv...then they simulated them, and started practising every weekend, practising fake matches,my brother against my father...they probably praticed for about 6 months, before they felt they had it down pat...

Now they were ready to spring the trap....Every weekend, our house was full, with my friends...they came over to play records, play cards, act silly, get away from home...my house seemed to be the meeting place...I was around 13 or 14 at this time...

Once most of my friends had come over, and we were all in the front room playing records, or the other group was in the dining room playing cards, dad and my brother quietly snuck into the kitchen and closed the door...now the fun began....

Once the kitchen door was closed, dad and my brother, started hollering and screaming at one another, loud enough to be heard in the front room and dining room....all of my friends were horrified.....they had never heard 'pa' scream so, nor could they believe how my brothers was screaming back..they wait for the cue from me and mom(who were in on this prank)...

Mom and I pretended to be all aghast, and opened the kitchen door, and ran in, followed by all my friends...there were my father and brother, seemingly beating the crap out of each other, using wrestling moves....

You should have seen the look on my friends faces...their jaws dropped opened, and I swear they were all frozen on the spot....tbey could not move, just stood there gaping, horrified, that 'pa' was trying to kill this little kid...

Finally my dad and brother stopped, and just laughed at all my friends....'Gotcha, Didnt I' was all my dad had to say...

From that time onward, no one of my friends ever again claimed that wrestling was real...

However, there were still holdouts, believing that Roller Derby was also real, which as we should all know, it is not(I mean, how can 300 or so lb John 'Porky' Parker, rollerskate over someones head, supposedly causing a near skull fracture on some slim roller derby opponent, and in the next round the slim guy is good as new?)

Ah, my dad, he was a pistol...
