Oh yes, I spent many summers in Yuma! I lived there twice through the military. 8 years worth of hot summers. But i got used to it. I like the sunshine. And like you, I was at the pool almost every day.
did I tell you, the oldest girl's daughter is going to go to college there in Tempe..University of Arizona. Kristie the mom, is a geologist who lives in Phoenix, almost a year now...It is a 9 hour drive from our house to hers.

I am so busy right now working on about 30 photos.. Have to do things with them and resize and get them back to a couple lawyers in Mass.. When I'm done I'll be back..
I had to have my hairs cut this morning too.. I haven't had much freedom lately, and have been a little stressed.. Hope to see you all soon..
To: grannie9; lodwick

Just chasing comets with my mind. Been working on a surreal drawing. Other than that... *Shrugs*
No, I'm not too good with snakes. Love the little critters dearly, but for some reason snakes don't like me. (My brother has a ball python, name of 'Buddy', who seems to think I am a giant mouse. He's hunted me and tried to squeeze me. He and I now have an agreement. He won't squeeze me, and I won't squeeze him.)
Lizards, however....
To: Darksheare
rofl darksheare you make me laugh
r u sure the snakes dont love you back
maybe squeezin' you is sign of love
(I guess depends how hard they squeeze)
we have very small lizards (few inches) all over our yards
I love them
they are so fast dogs cant catch them
I am thrilled you are working on new drawing now
I bet it is wonderful
this seems like good time for art (the stars are in right place)
Love, Palo
To: palo verde
Well.. I always say about my surreal art: "If it makes sense to you, you are in fact insane."
(Yes, I always say such stuff about my own talent. Comes from having inherited less than a fourth of my Grandfather's talent. So I'm largely self-taught.)
Any of the lizards Fence Lizards? (My Eastern Fence died about two months back, egg bound. Teach me to get a female lizard, eh?)
To: Darksheare; palo verde; grannie9

Pot Roast for lunch?
Gran, please take it easy and don't stress out. Whatever happens is what is supposed to happen and worrying won't change the outcome.
Good job with the snake truce Darks - nice plan. ;-)
