;-) Thanks Martha. What I'm trying so say is that we don't do c on c, or ribs here.
We can't afford the dental floss or the toothpicks.
I hope that your Independence Day was blessed.
The guys in Boston truly do it up Right! JL

I agree about her hair color, HLL. When BWB mentioned that he's no prize,,, I looked at the pic and thought to myself, "Neither is she".

I love that...His "messy" divorce. Like his wife was just supposed to say, "Okay, hon. Let's get divorced." Not to mention that stupid "Rosie& Kelli" thing. Sorry, "they" are not capable of becoming pregnant. "Us" should be changed to "FREAKS". GRRRRRRRRRRRrr.

Kind of makes you wonder about his father's quote, "This could go all the way." All the way to where? Poor guy must have been desperate to find something quotable to say. Who would want her as a daughter-in-law?

Well, I certainly wouldn't want her as a DIL. So far, I've been very lucky,,,, I couldn't have done a better job of picking out DIL's if I'd done it myself. 2 down, 1 to go. Time will tell.

...if I'd done it myselfWhat a precious comment. :)

Well, our family has truely been blessed by these young women my sons married. They are fantastic Mothers, hard working, conservative,,, their only flaws,,,, they both need to be encouraged to take some time for themselves,, that's where Grandma comes in,,.
(We are Catholic) Gabreil, age 3, going on 10, asks his Mom: "When we pray, why don't we say 'Father, Son and Mommy, Sister?"
DIL went into long explaination about blessing ourselves before we pray. Their family now concludes each prayer with: "Bless Mommy and Sister, too".
To: Aggie Mama
The better question is, "Rosie and Kelli - are they grotesque?"

More on the "ain't adultery grand" midnight nuptials:
Roberts recently built a tiny wooden chapel on her 51-acre ranch - complete with a cross on the roof [!!!]- and put up a spacious white tent for the extravaganza.
..... The star of "Runaway Bride" and "My Best Friend's Wedding" was married in 1993 to country singer Lyle Lovett. They divorced 21 months later. She jilted actor Kiefer Sutherland in 1991 just three days before their wedding - to run off with another actor, Jason Patric.
.... She's been linked to co-stars Dylan McDermott and Liam Neeson. Last year, she ended a four-year relationship with actor Benjamin Bratt just days after announcing that she was still madly in love with him. Bratt married actress Talisa Soto in April.
Roberts fell for the then-married Moder, 33, after meeting him two years ago on the set of "The Mexican," which co-starred Pitt. Moder left his wife of five years - makeup artist Vera Steinberg - to be with Roberts. Roberts has reportedly said she and Moder, who is also a television documentary maker, would love to have "a whole gaggle of kids" together. rest of story from NY Post.
On a more pleasant note:
President Bush retained his sense of humor this week despite the heat wave.
Joining wife Laura in a White House event Wednesday commemorating the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition, Dubya said: "It's fitting, and amazing, when you think about it, that we're holding this event here in the East Room, because this is where [Meriwether] Lewis lived when he was [Thomas] Jefferson's private secretary."
He added that "the second First Lady, ... Abigail Adams, actually used to hang the washing here. And I want to thank Laura for getting my underwear out before the event started." NY Daily News.

Wait, it gets even more sordid:
Roberts shocked the showbiz world when she ran off with Danny last August. His poor wife, make-up artist Vera Steinberg, was distraught and only learned of the affair when she found a phone bill littered with calls to the star.
In a twist that could have come straight out of a movie, it's been claimed Julia paid Vera a six-figure sum so she'd give Danny a quickie divorce. And sure enough, the marriage was dissolved last month leaving the way clear for the couple to get hitched. The Mirror

Ten years after playing the saxophone on MTV in a defining moment of his 1992 campaign for president, Bill Clinton is scheduled to appear on the cable music channel to discuss the global AIDS epidemic. Clinton, shown with the MTV audience on June 16, 1992 will be one of several panelists taking questions from an audience of young adults from more than 25 countries during an hour-long program to be taped July 11 in Barcelona, Spain, the network announced July 3, 2002. Notice bill in his pre-presidential suit. It's amazing what a taxed paid tailor can accomplish!
