Joining wife Laura in a White House event Wednesday commemorating the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition, Dubya said: "It's fitting, and amazing, when you think about it, that we're holding this event here in the East Room, because this is where [Meriwether] Lewis lived when he was [Thomas] Jefferson's private secretary."
He added that "the second First Lady, ... Abigail Adams, actually used to hang the washing here. And I want to thank Laura for getting my underwear out before the event started." NY Daily News.
Roberts shocked the showbiz world when she ran off with Danny last August. His poor wife, make-up artist Vera Steinberg, was distraught and only learned of the affair when she found a phone bill littered with calls to the star.
