Here's one for you kinky adventurous men...

Ladies, put your razors away: Women should embrace body hair

Something tells me that if this catches on that body hair will be all that they're embracing.

Yes, but with shorts you have a maximum profit of 100% and an unlimited possible loss. With long purchases you have an unlimited upside and a maximum possible loss of 100%

Swervie, with a tight stop-loss set, if the stock goes against you, you get stopped out with a minimal loss. How else do you think that some traders can have a winning trade record of around 50%, and STILL get wealthy.

When the trade goes against you, you get out NOW. If it doesn't, you watch and wait. When you lose, you lose a little, and when you gain, you gain MORE than a little.

If you focus on making a lot of money over a 10 to 30 year timeframe you can do it safely. If you concentrate on making a quick killing, you are likely to get killed. It is like Russian Roulette. You have to win every time.

WRONG. But still partially right.

If you are gonna TRADE, then TRADE. If you are gonna INVEST, then INVEST.

They are NOT the same thing.

If you are gonna INVEST, then INVEST. If you are gonna TRADE, then go to Vegas instead. The odds are better and the games more honest.

Try "Securities Analysis" by Grahm and Dodd.

Sorry, but I had PLENTY of financial ratio analysis in BUSINESS school. I can look up benchmarks from a sector and analyze an ongoing concern's numbers. Yawn.

BUT, for technical analysis, I love Toni Turner's books.

Last summer, I decided I would auction a few Linux boxes on EBay, since there weren't many people on there offering them. I also did a little mock-up web-site to explain the various configurations that I would ship out to people, and how Linux could be useful to small business.

Well, somehow that site has made it to Google, and I am now getting hits on that page almost every day. Unintended consquences again... hehehehehe!!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ... The Village Idiots are back

Got this new in the email

Salvation Army Gives Up City Money
.c The Associated Press
PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - The Salvation Army has decided to forgo $60,000 from the city rather than offer benefits as required by Portland's new domestic partnership ordinance.

The ordinance, which went into effect earlier this year, requires organizations that get certain funds through the city to provide health and employment benefits to domestic partners of their employees.

The Salvation Army has received $60,000 a year from the city to operate its $400,000 meals program and the city's only center for seniors.

The evangelical Christian organization, which teaches that Scripture forbids unmarried people and people of the same gender from having sexual relations, had asked the city for an exemption.

But last month, the City Council voted 6-3 against exempting any religious group.

The Salvation Army doesn't plan to challenge the ordinance and hopes to find alternative funding for its senior center and meals program, officials said.

``We are committed to serving the senior citizens of Portland,'' said Maj. Steve Howard of the Salvation Army.

Officials of Catholic Charities Maine are attempting to reconcile church teachings with the domestic partnership ordinance. The church opposes couples living together outside of marriage.

Catholic Charities receives $85,000 in federal funds through the city.

My condolences. I am sure it is a great burden at this time to have people in need of Linux consultants and Linux boxes clogging up your E-Mail. It might grow to be full time.

Isn't there some way to alert Google, et al to your new improved site?

Something I thought you would find amusing....I was with Tyler at Walmart a little while ago and he saw the guns and told me I needed one to go bear hunting. I told him that I didn't do bear hunting, but I had a friend with a bear problem. He said he'd take care of it for you. Hehehe...

Jesus school essay sparks federal suit

I am starting to believe that the ONLY way to defeat the Leftists is to flood the judicial system with these types of Lawsuits EXACTLY LIKE THEY DO.

They LIVE to go to court. (using taxpayer money to fight the government which GIVES them that money.) I say we should do the same to them.

Any bets on how long it takes the Swervie to take the teacher's side??

I've thought that for awhile myself. Problem is that conservatives are wired differently somehow and it would kinda be going against nature in a sense. Besides, most conservatives have jobs and have to spend time dealing with the real world. The Rats just plain have too much time on their hands which they prefer to spend thinking up ways to separate OTHER people from their hard-earned money.
