You have a great 4th of July -- I'll be posting some pictures some evenings while I'm on the road. I'll have my laptop with me and can download pictures from the camera and recharge batteries at motels. I'll probably take a couple of hundred pictures each day. I love digital photography. No film processing expense and I get instant gratification.

If you go near Huntsville Alabama, they have a cool NASA exhibit there, only takes a couple hours to go through.

From Birmingham, I'll head toward Atlanta -- I might not even get as far north as Birmingham. I like back roads, not big freeways, for finding picturesque places and old towns caught in a time warp. Like this picture I took in Satin, Texas
