From Birmingham, I'll head toward Atlanta -- I might not even get as far north as Birmingham. I like back roads, not big freeways, for finding picturesque places and old towns caught in a time warp. Like this picture I took in Satin, Texas
Steer clear of Atlanta... I believe it starts as soon as you cross the GA state line these days.
