the english say jumper when we say cardigan
when we say jumper, we mean something like a pinafore, a sleeveless scooped dress over a dress
I'm not saying they made Kathleen wear pinafore to catlic school
a jumper is more grown up than pinafore
(and less cute)
that is why gals in catlic school were always hiking up their skirt

Yes, I did have grade 13...but its been stopped now.And we do 3 yrs of University while you do 4.

my french neighbor back in nyc refused to wear navy blue
cause it was uniform in her catlic school
but navy blue has always been one of my favorite colors
is navy ruined for you too?

Has it started to cool down there yet? What is Miss Lulu doing?
Its still pretty warm here, at 81...tomorrow, it is supposed to go up to 88...and then after that supposedly it will cool down again, into the upper 70s....these are the Pacific Northwest summers, that I love...
There is a slight breeze, coming in through the windows now, and the smell of the roses is wafting into the house...days like these make up for the gloomy, grey, sprinkly skies of the winter...

I knew only one girl who went to Catholic school...me and all my friends went to public school....
We used to think that the Catholic girl and her family were rich, because you had to pay to go to Catholic school...and she was not allowed to play with the rest of us...we thought it was because we were too poor, and not to her parents liking...me and my friends were always dirty and sweaty when we were playing outside.....the girl who went to Catholic school, was always neat and clean...

Lulu just ambled herself into yard

(Lulu only goes out in hot afternoon to piddle)

our evening has started
Lulu is happy on couch
most of the time our air is not fragrant from flowers
cause we don't have moisture in air to carry the scent
but during monsoon season
or winter rains you can smell the orange blossoms in tucson
and of course my favorite the creosite
which is desert plant with spicy perfume

I am not sure when the white comes onto the eagles face...but those babies sure got big in a hurry...mom and dad eagle did a tremendous job, in feeding their babies...
Pretty soon those eagles will be flying away, glad to see new ones added to the numbers of eagles, but sad to see them go when the time comes...ah well, there is always next years babes to look forward to....
Lulu is so special...she has her French Provincial couch inside, where she can lounge when Happy is waiting at the door, and she has her special outside couch, for fresh air relaxing...shes such a special girl...

bill put it down so Lulu could have pretty rug to relax on

I never heard of a creosite...sounds intriguing...its interesting, to see how so very different species of plants and flowers inhabit such different climates...each climate has its very own plantlife and wildlife, specially adapted to that particular area...
That makes it all so interesting...it would be boring if everything was the same...
It is beautiful here, in the Pacific Northwest, with all its greenery and abundant plantlife...but the desert areas, are equally as beautiful...varieties of cacti, and desert flowers, and just the variety of colors and textures, to the sand and rocks themselves, out on the desert...
As I see it, all of nature is beautiful...even tho the desert is harsh, with its temps and lack of water, still there is abundant plantlife and animal life, suited for that area...
