back in NYC I used to make coffee several times a day for Carmine
a senior citizen in my building
we had walk-up and it was too many steps for him

I also made him egg sandwich
during the time when I was getting ready to leave NYC to move to Tucson I was in constant communication with Spirit
the move was Spirit's idea
I was making coffee for Carmine, and I couldn't find anything to dry the cup
Spirit said ''use your underpants''
I said tp Spirit ''won't it make the cup smell intimate''
Spirit said ''Carmine might like the cup smelling intimate''
(it cracked me up)

Bill went to Home Depot this morning
so I went to Robinson May (they are in same Mall)
I bought two new pocketbooks
I had long wait outside for him to pick me up
I thought I would redo the polish on my toe nails while I was waiting
but I had left the nail polish in other pocketbook in car

I went to Home Depot too..not the same one as Bill of course...had to buy a new faucet for the kitchen sink..it leaks a whole lot.

ANYHOO..while at the drug store YESTERDAY i bought a new summer color HOT PINK..gonna do my tootsies and my fingers....for my big romance weekend in VA Beach at the family wedding.

Well, I have finally been relieved from our room rearranging ordeal....we worked for quite a while, and got lots done...

Then I had to help the hubby put up another flag holder and flag...we have always had our American flag out back and out front we have a red, white and blue bow on the door, and an American Flag windsock, in one of the big bushes out front...

On June 13, we put up another flag holder for a flag out front for flag day...the flag we put into that holder, was a big old flag, that my husband had when he was young, and they used to fly from his boyhood home...but being that its old, he did not want to fly it every single day...just use it for special holiday, and special events...

So today, we put up another flag holder and big American flag for our every day use...so I had to help the hubby with that today, decided exactly where we wanted to put it, helping him with his drill and such...

So now we have our newest flag, proudly flying out front...

Then, when we were done with our work, the hubby grinned and said, "Well, its almost 5pm, time for happy hour"...so now, we are drinking beer...

Later on, its clam chowder, T-bone steaks, baked potatoes, with the fixins, and of course, lots of cold beer...

So I am finally freed up from the hubbys yakking....hes happy, I am happy, and free to Freep away...

I can't wait Mom...it's been a while since we have had a weekend together and with work/home and all we BOTH need it..but my family is crazy whacky and silly...so it'll be a little nerve wracking having him meet them....I hope they don't scare him away.
