W O R L D N E W S S T O R Y Argentina sends 'X-files' team to probe animal deaths 20 June 2002

BUENOS AIRES: Argentina is sending its own X-Files scientists to probe strange deaths of farm animals found dissected, mutilated and drained of blood on remote Pampa plains, killings some have blamed on aliens. At least 70 animals were reported killed in recent weeks, some with their genitals and tongues pulled out with surgical precision surrounded by charred grass with no signs of blood stains. One horse's hoof had a circle drawn into it.

"It's very strange... We are sending a team of technicians to take samples and perform the necessary studies to see if we can find a scientific explanation for this," said a spokesman for the animal health inspection service Senasa, which is sending veterinarians to perform autopsies.

In the massively popular TV series The X-Files, FBI scientists probed unusual and paranormal cases, often strange deaths involving bodies mutilated by suspected aliens.

Frightened farmers in the far-flung plains of Argentina said there have been no signs that the animals had been attacked by the likes of wild boars - and were quick to highlight that the meat of the animals had been untouched in a land where hunger is widespread and cattle theft is growing.

Some inhabitants in La Pampa province said they saw bright lights in the night sky near one site of mutilations.

"I'd have to say I side with the paranormals on this one. It has to be something from beyond the Earth," said Felipe, a farmer north of the capital Santa Rosa. ,P> "The way the entrails were removed through a burn-like incision in the cow's rear-end is very strange," he said.

Some folks suspect that the green dwarf, who has been reported by several people, is connected in some way with the mutilations. But many others don't believe in green dwarfs.

seriously, who in the world would want to, or could do what is evidenced at these scenes? surgical precision, no blood, no tracks. odd lights often reported.

many ranchers in the US were patrolling their land armed because they had lost so many cattle to this occurence.

its' weird, but i do not suggest any likely cause, because it is so bizzare.

When the old AEC was forced to open some of its files, an account surfaced of a purposeful radiation release at Hanford, followed by the secret snatching of several downwind cattle for examination. Perhaps there is a continuing worldwide program to monitor the damage done by nuclear testing during the cold war.

And the green dwarf comment was quite serious. Many in Argentina are convinced of the truth of its reported sightings.

Just for the record, very few episodes of the X files revolved around strange deaths involving bodies mutilated by suspected aliens. I think there might have been one episode about the animal mutilation phenomena.

In the grand scheme of things, this matters not at all.

I really need to go to Walmart and buy myself a life.

The first recorded instance of these bizarre mutilations occurred in Wyoming way back in the 1890's, long before Hanford existed or el chupa-whatever exploits were splashed across South American newspapers.

i have never heard of this dwarf, not even on stern;-). i have heard of the radiation hypothesis, yet this is Argentina, which would tend to negate this idea.

Idiotic. About twenty years ago, tired of getting called to every dead cow in the county, some Georgia sheriff did a time-lapse home movie for a few days of a carcass which displayed all of the same gruesome effects claimed by the dimwits who think this stuff is caused by aliens, etc.--

It's caused by birds, bugs and coyotes or foxes--

Okay, now here's how I know it's aliens. Humans know where hamburger comes from, as well as steak. Cattle would disappear completely, because humans, I don't care how nutty they are will NOT pass up the idea of a freezer full of nice Red Meat. I for one if given the oppurtunity to get a whole cow, butchered and put into a freezer, You bet I'd take the meat. Only a stupid alien, would steal the worst parts of a perfectly good cow, horse, or anything else. Now, let's talk about blood loss. Does anyone here have any idea how much blood is in a cow? Holy mackeral, let me say that whatever you think is in a cow, take that times 10. It's a lot of blood. Where in the heck did the blood go? So you've got that mystery. Then, who in the heck would want it?

Then there's the strange lights in the sky, and the charred ground. Let me say this, Satanic cultists aren't going to be able to make funny lights in the sky, char the earth, steal testicles, and tongues and blood from any animals without someone knowing something. It's like those fake crop circles. Someone who knows something is always going to tell what they know to someone else. This is nothing more than the work of Alien biology students. Yes, that's right, Alien biology students. Who else would want to dissect cows, and other animals? I'd lay money on it, there's someone or some people in Argentina who are going to say they were probed, and or abducted from their beds. Those people are victims of Drunken Alien Fratboys, who do those things, and take pictures to show their friends on their homeworld.

You're wondering how I know these things? Well, I have captured some of these little people while they were harassing my cats. Now, My female cat Darthy is Pregnant. It took several buckets of water to get the aliens off my cat. Oh sure, it looked like my other cat Stinky, but I'm telling you, it was an alien. Now, the wife and I are waiting to see if they come back to repatriate their fuzzy alien progeny back to the mothership. I'll keep everyone posted. For pictures of the cats, please feel free to Freepmail me. I may have to hide the evidence of their visit, so I'm willing to give them to responsible freepers from everywhere.
