I have called the wildlife authorities who advise me that it is illegal to rent a bear. You may, however, lease one for $325/month with a capital cost reduction of $2695 including tax, tag and title.

Poor Prentice. He's working a lot these days. Prentice, the pictures of the beautiful houses you sent to me, did you want me to post them so others could see what you've been up to?

John McCain? A war hero putting politics above national security?

I appreciate McCain's service and regret his suffering as a POW in Hanoi. Neither, however, qualify him as a "war hero." He was doing his job, nothing more.

Agree. But the media base his credibility on that he was a P.O.W., something he had little control over.

No husband has ever been shot while doing the dishes

It shames me to admit that this is the source of my longevity.

He is the liberal ideal of a war hero. He suffered, but didn't make the enemy suffer. There's no way we could win a war if all the "heroes" acted as he did. How can a liberal object to that?

When do husbands and wives get shot?

In drunken rages... after the dishes are done (and the laundry).

*LOL* Another crazy dude with a truck and fireworks in a mishap.
Man kept in jail after Kool-Aid bomb blows up his truck
YAKIMA -- A man who said he was experimenting with a Kool-Aid-containing explosive compound for homemade fireworks when his truck blew up will remain in jail pending a federal grand jury investigation. Thomas R. Webster, 45, of Yakima, was ordered held without bail yesterday ...
Webster's 1971 yellow pickup truck exploded on June 13, destroying the vehicle, scattering debris 150 feet away and starting several small fires. Webster told ATF Special Agent Eric Floyd that he had been making an explosive called HMTD and was writing a how-to manual for making fireworks. Webster said he had been making the compound in his apartment for more than a year and was storing it in the back of his truck, Floyd testified. The truck was parked in a parking lot adjacent for the four-plex apartment house where he lived when it blew up.

Just as the vague term "cruel and unusual punishment" is open to definition by each community or state, so should the term "mentally retarded" be left open for each court (or jury) to define. The Supremes are wrong wrong wrong in today's ruling. The Constitution is specifically non-specific, not because the writers wanted the Supreme Court to specify, but because they trusted local jurisdictions to apply reasonable judgement in each case.
Justice must be served, and juries are not going to punish a truly clueless retarded man for accidentally doing something wrong, but they are not going to let a brutal premeditated murder go unpunished because it was committed by someone who scores low on IQ tests.

I don't think his how-to manual is going to be a bestseller.

Glad you enjoyed them.

Good thinking on 15, Cuttn! That's why God created dishwashers, or maids, or third world countries. ;-)
