FOFLOL. Can you believe it ? They took just about everything that I've put in this year. It rained yesterday morning and the ground was soft enough that it was easy digging. My house is on the corner and so is the the other house that was hit. They took two very HEAVY urns with tall topiaries that I've had for years. GRRRRRRRR.

Wow, what a shocker! I hope the landscape thieves are miserable with ant bites all over
To: gratefulwharffratt
I noticed that.
Okay, I didn't.
There has to be something more interesting for me to lie about than spiders...
To: Servant of the Nine
It seems to happen far too often. It drives me nutz. They really need to do something about that stuff.

I looked around stunned. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. LOL You were easy pickings because you have done so much work on your lawn this year. You had plants that were not too well rooted.

No, The DEVILS hit AFTER I had gotten rid of all the ants. AFTER I had gotten all the stuff planted and growing. It was all nicely layed out for them all they had to do was "fill their shopping list". They dug up flowers and bulbs from my flower beds. I've been so stunned I was all that mad at first but now I;m getting hot about it.

I've been so stunned I was all that mad at first but now I;m getting hot about it. Go cruise around where they are building new houses. You just might see your topiaries on someone elses front porch. If you do, call the police, don't ring the doorbel and raise hell.

That's what the officer said. He said the rain we had yesterday morning softened up all the beds, too. It was easy pickings.

I didn't thoroughly read any of the links yet - I was sleeping through the news, and now the kids want me to take them somewhere. Gavin wants to buy the Mustang for sale across the street. It is TROUBLE, an older one all souped up. I'll take its picture.
To: Darlin'
If you can dig out ( no pun intended) an old photo of the urns with the topiary plants, the police might apreciate it. One trouble with this kind of crime, is that plants is plants and it's hard to prove they were stolen unless you catch them in the act. Something distinctive like that can make a difference in finding them and proving the case.

I was feeling guilty for not doing much at all in the yard this year - now I feel like I just saved someone from a life of crime.
To: Mo1
Hey Mo - thanks for all your work for the fundraiser - ya done GOOD. Be sure to reward yourself with some SLEEP.

I was feeling guilty for not doing much at all in the yard this year - now I feel like I just saved someone from a life of crime. And if you have the same tastes as Darlin' and can find the right crew, you can get a great deal too.

I want my topiaries back.. I've trimmed, treated and babied them for years. Don't worry I won't be going to anyone's door. LOL I'm just mad not goofey. LOL They said it has been happening several surrounding towns. My topiaries may be in New Orleans or Houston by now. LOL

Right, how would I ever prove caladium plants are MY caladium plants ? Or red geraniums, impatients, salvia, petunias ? What they didn't take they trampled up pretty good.
I might have a picture of the toparies from about a year ago but I couldn't put my hands on it if my life depended on it. At least not right now. I am soooo mad.
