We have a traveling band of "landscape thieves" in the area and they struck my street last night. My yard was one of the yards they hit Big Time. Who ever heard of such a thing ? FOFLOL. I'm stunned. How brazen is that ?
Were we supposed to hold out for the goodstuff??
"Chief Two Eagles," one official began, "you have observed the white man for many generations, you have seen his wars and his products, you have seen all his progress, and all his problems."
The chief nodded. The official continued, "Considering recent events, in your opinion, where has the white man gone wrong?"
The chief stared at the government officials for over a minute, and then calmly replied.
"When white man found the land, Indians were running it. No taxes. No debt. Plenty buffalo. Plenty beaver. Women did the work. Medicine man free. Indian men hunted and fished all the time..."
The chief smiled, and added quietly, "White man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that."

I have seen it several times in Houston. So called "Landscape Contractors" give lowball bids in new subdivisions, often making a deal with the builder. Then they send a crew out to steal the plants for the job. It is the only way they can make money on their low bids.
They won't stop till someone fills them and their pickup full of buckshot.

The only way to tell good from bad was to field test it (Sorta like in the Spiderman movie).

Nobody noticed this, but the radioactive spider in the Spiderman movie is marked using the same colors as are in the Dead symbol, the 'Steal Your Face.'
It was a similar shape too, despite being on a tiny spider. And that spider DID give Peter Parker a trip he couldn't forget.

The sun finally came out yesterday afternonn so I went to my friend's new home on the river, spent the night, came home this morning saw a police car down the street, wondered what happened. Never once thought about "landscape thieves". I turned into my driveway and in a minute a police car pulled in behind me to ask about my losses. I looked around stunned. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. LOL
Heheheh....OOPS!
