I guess that after this one backfires on them, they will file a lawsuit claiming Bush is responsible for everything bad that has EVER happened in 6 Billion years. Dinosaurs extinct?? Bush caused it with his ignoring the global warming which will kill millions starting any day now.

She just swung a whopping old U-Turn......right in front of one of the local bankers! She was in a little station wagon/hatchback type vehicle, i.e., Honda or some small car type and Mr. Nelson was in a whopping b-i-g pickup truck.
Soon as I heard brakes and tires squealing, I grabbed the portable phone and headed for the front door--just in time to see her vehicle twisting back to a northerly direction in the barrow pit!
Everyone was running to her aid. All she was concerned with was her beautiful chocolate colored poodle type in the back who was in real distress--the back seat caught the dog from the waist-area down between the seats. Two ambulances pulled in, as did animal control.
She refused to get in the ambulance until her dog was taken care of. One thing about small towns--everybody knows everybody--one of the guys that was trying to extricate the dog was telling her that he would make sure Cocoa made it to Doc Cope's. One ambulance had her loaded and the other had the dog!!!
True story...there was some reason--and I think it was the size of the cages with animal control--why she couldn't be taken by them to the vet. They strapped her onto a board because you could tell the dog's hips were broken up pretty badly.
I mentioned that story to Doc Cope the next time I saw him. He said it was so sad; that they had euthanised her because she was broken up so bad, not only in the hips, but the legs, and ribcage had damage, and something about the spinal column.
Just wondering...
