Better, now that this past 2 days are over with. It has been a long couple of days. Now I can relax and FReep, although probably not too seriously until I've had a good night's sleep.

I really don't know what to think of Simon's chances. I saw an article about a poll taken by a labor union - showed Simon 44% to Davis 43%. Davis's negatives are in the 60's. But, many people seem not to know much about Simon, and feel that his being a businessman is a bad thing. duh. I'm not wired in to the political inside stuff here, so can't really say anything with any authority. There's a battle going on with the party leadership - Shawn Steele, the state party chairman, resigned and isn't saying why. One of the mucky-muck money men in the upper echelons of the party is Parsky, and is a Rino from the word go. Word is that he and others who supported Riordan (Rino extrordinaire) in the primaries are furious that Simon won, and are working behind the scenes to undermine Simon and support Davis. Word also is that Karl Rove supports Parsky. I'll just have to wait and see how things shake out, but I'd sure like to see Davis kicked to the curb.

The Republican Party in Kali is pretty much dead. there isn't even a Republican candidate running against our congressional person (I won't call her a representative) Little Ellen (my little blue dress I had when I was 5 is like the Constitution - it just doesn't fit anymore) Tauscher. The state has run off the rails and is heading for the abyss. Yeah, I know, I should move.
