You funkle queen. It's overcast here, and the cupboards and refrigerator are bare. I can't believe the kids ate EVERYTHING! I have to run to the store... BBL
To: ValerieUSA
Go figure. LOL. I hear kids expect to eat 4 or 5 times a day ... Could that be true ? LOL

Beautiful People ? Gaaaaack ! Oh, Please ! No matter how many times Vanity Fair says it, it just won't make it so. That whole, rotten family upholds the adage, You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. (Or any other part of a hog's anatomy for that matter.)
OTOH, I read this morning the Bush Twins made FHM's list of the 100 Sexiest Women Alive. Dontcha know that just frosted them in Manhatten, Harlem, Chappaqua, Georgetown and Oxford ? FOFLOL.

Thank you, Mo. What a sad and tragic post. A few months back I recieved a similar message from a loved one and it broke my heart.

Whoops. Nice try, your heart was right. :) Gee, that bridge looks mighty familiar. LOL. I've got a couple of songs that would be appropriate for the picture. LOL

Over at the USO Canteen, today is R&R day, and Mississippi is the honored state and where I liberated the bridge, but not the midi.
My caladium leaves are the best ever, in over ten years of planting! The second planting, however, that I cut the center out look like dwarfs. I may have screwed the poochie on that move. Maybe a lot of fertilizer will give them some OOMPH. I hope.

That is so tragic. I thank God my four boys are healthy. I know that whole family must be devastated - and I also know that losing a baby sibling is really tough on the other kids. They'll be so afraid and confused for a long time.
To: lodwick
Same thing here. My first bunch of calladiums are just great. The second and much larger planting was the one attacked by critters, presumably the legions of squirrels in my yard. The few surviving ones are mighty puny. LOL
I'm getting exasperated with the struggle. My yard had been pretty much neglected for years before I got the house at the end of last summer. Just trying to shape it back up has been a big chore. Most of my efforts aren't apparent this year but hopefully will pay off come fall or by early next spring. Now, our very oppressive summer heat is upon us and that along with summer plans and several committments may bring a halt to most of my yard work until early fall. We'll see what hapens. :)

The joys of homeownership. Some days I think I could move into RetireVillage somewhere and let the staff screw with the grounds, the building maintenance, the insurance, the cooking, the shopping, the dirty dishes, the housekeeping - what am I leaving out? ;-)
