I wonder if the self-important Senate committee hearings contributed to the stock market plunge.

Just who has been telling you that you're normal ? LOL :) No one in the last 40 years.
The attire at UT didn't change for years. I was there in '63, and if you look at a Bloom County cartoon from ten years later "Steve Austin" is still wearing no socks with his Bass Weejuns.

FOFLOL. Guess there is no limit that some women won't go to in order to hang onto a man. The poor fellow probably thought he be rid of her when he died. LOL

Some guy's time was up -- to bad this could happen to Skakel:
SAN ANTONIO -- A man who skipped town the day he was scheduled to go to trial in a 14-year-old murder case died this week in a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler in South Texas, officials said.
Robert Estrada, 38, veered his 1994 Mazda into the path of a truck just north of Laredo early Tuesday, officials said. Monday, Estrada was set to go on trial for the fatal drive-by shooting of Rene Morales on April 1988.
Estrada faxed a note Monday morning to District Court Judge Bert Richardson saying he would be late to court. "I am running a little late, but don't give up," Estrada wrote. "I will see you very soon."

FOFLOL. Uh-huh. Seems about right. Half the men at half the parties I go to aren't wearing socks with their loafers, usually Bass Weejuns. :)

Well, they certainly didn't convey an image of stability.
Replays ought to be required viewing for Pubbies and Rinos everywhere. Immediately afterwards an announcer ought to ask the question, Do you really want to see Patrick Leahy continue as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee ? Or John Conyers become chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. If that doesn't scare them into action then nothing ever will.

Gavin and I drove by a fire truck and police car at one of the intersections in town yesterday after his dentist appt. where they were doing something around the manhole... we couldn't figure out what was going on then. It turns out they were looking for these kids:
WACO, Texas -- The bodies of two Fort Worth brothers who were sucked into a drainage ditch after they fell into a rain-swollen creek were recovered this afternoon. Waco police lowered the water level in the Brazos River by several feet to help in the search for 19-year-old David Wright and his 14-year-old brother, Chris Wright.
The drainage ditch handles most of the overflow from the north and west parts of Waco, carrying the water underground and directly into the Brazos.
They were swept into a tunnel that runs under the town for about 12 blocks and empties into the Brazos River. I have no idea what 14 and 19 yr olds were doing playing in a big ditch after a cloudburst. The 14 yr old was swept away first and his older brother tried to save him and was caught, too. It's very sad, but so senseless.

" I don't really have any hair on my back." Electrolysis?
To: ValerieUSA
Yep, no question about that. I wonder if he meant to commit suicide or if it was just a freak accident.
