Mo, I saw a clip of that. I don't know how Mueller maintained his patience during that pathetic show. They knew the President was going to steal their thunder tonight. They were desperate and it showed.

Evening, Darlin'. I got the feeling that the Dems were anticipating some campaign fodder but got none. They looked a little perplexed and appeared to finally just let her keep talking in hopes that something big would emerge with which to slap the Pubbies. As best I could tell, nothing did.

I was busy with work for a large part of the day. The hearing was on in the next room but I got to watch very little.
How are you feeling ?

:) That is pretty much my impression, too. The dems seemed to be doing exactly what every 1st year law student knows you don't do.... They were asking questions and not the faintest idea of what the answer would be. LOL

Received this little gem from my old boss of 30-something- years-ago! He always sends the neatest jokes, poems, and things.

A friend of mine told me about this new Husband Shopping Center where a
woman could go to choose from among many men for her husband. It was
laid out in five floors, with the men increasing in positive attributes as you
ascended up the floors.

The only rule was once you opened the door to any floor, you must choose
a man from that floor, and if you went up a floor, you couldn't go back down
except to leave the place.

So, a couple of girlfriends go to the place to find a man as a prospective
husband. First floor, the door had a sign saying : "These men have jobs
and love kids."

The women read the sign and say, "Well that's better than not having jobs,
or not loving kids, but I wonder what's further up".

So up they go. Second floor says: "These men have high-paying jobs, love
kids, and are extremely good looking" Hmmm, say the girls.

But, I wonder what's further up?

Third floor: "These men have high paying jobs, are extremely good looking,
love kids and help with the housework." Wow! say the women.

Very tempting, BUT, there's more further up!

And up they go. Fourth floor: "These men have high paying jobs, love kids,
are extremely good looking, help with the housework, and have a strong
romantic streak." Oh, mercy me.

But just think! What must be awaiting us further on!

So up to the fifth floor they go. The sign on that door said: "This floor is
just to prove that women are impossible to please."

Tonight it seemed the burning question in the mind of all the TV pundits was, Will Tom Ridge be the new Homeland Security Chief ? It was incredible. It must have been the top question sent over from the DNC. Peter Jennings was just downright rude to him.

Actually it was University of Texas in the '60s and '70s. I just never adapted to normal.
