Good morning again. I decided earlier that I still felt like doo-doo, so I went back to bed and got some sleep despite my neighbor's hammering and sawing project in his carport which is right outside my bedroom. I had the TV turned to Fox news to drown out the noise, but that got annoying.

There's a big Dodge dealership on the highway between Charlotte and Monroe that used to have the actual squad car from the show parked out front, with a stuffed dummy behind the wheel made to look like Barney. Wonder if it's still there.

That Mayberry squad car is here in Waco parked downtown in front of Buzzard Billy's. Perhaps they used a few while filming the show. I'll take a picture of it today.
