That silly thief Winona Ryder is in deeper doo-doo than she thought. The prosecution has videotapes of her shoplifting on other occasions besides the Saks Fifth Ave incident that led to her charges. Newsweek

Only if it's their husbands they want to learn to shoot

LOL! I don't think that that will be an issue here...

Verrrry interesting....Her attorney was OUTRAGED, just OUTRAGED that his client, the lovely Winona, was even having to spend time in court. It's an OUTRAGE. Did I mention that it is an OUTRAGE?

When I was in high school, a couple of guys got caught after having been frequent shoplifters in a major department store. At the trial, the store produced films of the boys showing them engaged in virtually every theft they had committed there over several months. That was in the 1950's.

I agree--Ryder may be in more trouble than the one incident would indicate.

Meeting new like-minded friends is always a good thing - have a ball.

Poor Ms. Ryder. Not.

Thanks for the Skakel link, which lead me to the Drowning in PC link. Good stuff there. The Moxleys owe a ton to Dunne and Furman - otherwise that case would never have been broken. We'll see how the appeal goes. Skakel could die in jail, one way or another, by the time his slime lawyers drag this on.

June is adopt-a-cat month. With Yoda, I can't afford to adopt another cat. This free little stray kitten has cost a fortune in vet bills for his infections and allergies. Now he's here stretched out across the floor like he owns the place - making everyone step over him. He trusts us not to step on him because we don't want to take him to the vet again. *L*

The kids and I heard his lawyer telling the press that as long as he draws breath he'll believe in and fight for Michael's innocence. Call us cynical, but we we changed his words to, "As long as a dime remains in the family fortune, I'll be here to take it in defense of Michael."
